  1. Any interest folks? Can be a bit flexible on price. PS, 16 bids on eBay but way off my Reserve price, so I can still cancel the auction if necessary (I think)
  2. Now on eBay (£1 selling fee offer) but I would much rather sell here, so try with me near offer
  3. Fixed for ya 🤣
  4. Price cut to £650 including the various string sets. Post extra
  5. Nearish offers as above?
  6. The second batch is now sold out. Next lot in the summer. Congrats again, you won't regret it!!!
  7. Congrats, my batch #1 bass is fabulous! Looks cool in faded black

  9. Back in about 2013, I learned that my band All The Queens Ravens was going to be played on BBC Radio on the Gary Crowley show. So Iined up my family, parents, pals etc to listen. GC played the track and then read out the old line-up with the name of the previous bassist ... 🙄
  10. Try as I might, the neck is too unwieldy for my short scale loving left hand. So feel free to make a (nearish) offer and I will include 48 hour courier and all 3 sets of strings mentioned in the post above.
  11. The seller last visited BassChat in July 2018
  12. PS, currently wearing DR Sunbeam nickel rounds but can be swapped with La Bella Deep Talkin flats (light gauge) or D'Addario black nylon tapewounds
  13. For full disclosure, there is a bit of fret buzz around the very top end (c.19th fret and above) of the G string (not the E/A/D), although I do like quite low action so maybe this is exacerbating a slight unevenness of the board or frets at the dusty end on this particular string. On the other hand, how often do you play that far up the G string, lol?!
  14. Drunk. A long time ago!
  15. Here is Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp playing a white one in Dec 1980 on To Cut a Long Story Short (which I bought at the time!)
  16. Sausages yes, TalkBass no. I haven't posted on there for ages and am just waiting for my paid-up membership to lapse. Soz
  17. Update: I found a hard bass case hidden away in my store/hide-everything-away room, so this will be included. Means couriers will have to work bl**dy hard to damage the bass in transit, too!
  18. Thing is, I really like my other 3 basses (CIJ Mustang, Serek Grand, Alembic Spoiler) so I find it hard to think that anything else would grab my attention. Sorry!
  19. Being a simple chap, I just plugged a mono lead in one jack when playing through my amp at home!!!
  20. In answer to @three's question, from a PM from Ash : "the bass works with a mono jack. I’m not sure if the stereo was changed on later versions. It is stereo though."
  21. Forgot to include pic of s/n (6605) and perfect binding

  23. Hi all, I bought this a few months back from BCer and Shergold aficionado @ash to scratch my Factory records itch. Unfortunately I simply cannot get on with the neck, as all my other basses are short scale. Ash had it refinned in black nitro due to the usual knackered Shergold paint issue. Underneath the bridge cover it has acquired some scratches and gouges from the ball ends of strings from changing strings (see pic). These cannot be seen with the cover in place. Generally vgc and weight is a lovely manageable 3 6kg/7.8 pounds. Comes with a generic hard case and No gigbag but will be securely wrapped in bubble erm wrap and boxed if post required. Otherwise collection from SW London (Barnes). £600 plus post. Sorry no trades.
