Well, Birthday time has come and gone and I have some unwanted gifts. I put a battery in the pedal and gave it a five minute blast at home and that's it so it's as good as new. Great pedal if you want that Bootsie Collins filter effect. For some great reviews of this pedal take a look over at Harmony Central: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...mBOBulator/10/1 SOLD Thanks Jim.

I love my Cellinder Jazz Update. I picked mine up second hand from the Gallery when I was out to get a Sadowsky. Played it against two Metro jazz basses, an original '65 jazz, a couple of Laklands and a Lull and it sounded, felt and played better than all those. Not really a pre CBS sound, more a mid 70's sound, and then some. The one I have plays fantastic and has no deadspots whatsover. The Cellinder pre-amp is very good and unlike the typical bass/treble/mid preamps we have all got used to. Basically a single tone control that changes the various frequencies when making the sound more treble biased or bass biased. Also comes with a passive tone control. This and my original '62 P Bass are the only two basses I would never part with.

Well, from what I can see, other than what's already pointed out, is that the tuning pegs are definately not original. There is so much wrong with the bass that only a fool would touch it - despite the claim that they do not sell fakes! This looks like a bitser bass made from old and new parts. I note there are no pictures of the electronics, which is a tell tell sign (if ever one was needed in this case).
Sorry it didn't work out for you, I was very close to buying this one myself. Best of luck with the sale, it's a nice bass that.
Thanks Rayman. It is a nice bass and I'm only going to let it go for either a more traditional 60's style jazz bass or a Ricky. Quite happy to keep her otherwise.

A few years back a friend of mine purchased a new Japanese made Jaco style fretless Jazz bass, the one with the metal knobs, no scratchplate/screw holes and American PUPs. It is a real nice bass in immaculate (show room) condition as he just never used it - deciding to plump for a fretted bass to learn on! I came across it again in a recent visit and he offered to sell it to me. He said he remembers getting it for around the £600 mark but can't find the receipt (although he has the hang tags) and asked me to pay him a little lower than the going rate......whatever that is. So, can anyone help with what the going rate might be?

I've got some bits hanging around that are in great condition that I thought I would see if anyone wanted them: Kinman AVn-62 totally silent authentic single coil sounding strat replacement pickup - comes with white cover and in great condition (I rarely strum the 6 stringers). Was in my Musicman Silhouette which I gave to my son. He wanted to go totally metal so got him some 'buckers. Although recomended for middle/neck positions, these sound absolutely fabulous in the bridge postion. These cost over 80 GBP new, will sell for 40 GBP plus postage. For more details: http://www.kinman.com/Shop/specs/specsFram...SpecsAVn-56.htm Van Zandt Blues stra pick up (fantastic in the middle/neck position of a strat - brings the guitar alive). Same story as above and comes with white or black cover (your choice), again in great condition. These cost 60 GBP new, will let it go for 30 GBP plus postage. These were purchased for a project that never got off the ground and are unused. Looking for 30 GBP plus postage.
Windmill Jazz Bass - Jay Tee Model. Light ash body with Flamed maple top finished in a very nice Matt (satin) Tobacco-Burst. Upgraded to Lindy Fralin split jazz pickups plus Sadowsky preamp/with VTC (vol, pan, passive Tone with push/pull switch, which is also active with 2EQ - stacked Bass and treble). Maple neck and separate board - very light/pale, with a tastefully finished headstock front. Schaller 3 + 1 tuners with D-Tuner (E-string). Overall, this is a reasonable weight (9&1/4lbs) and comfortable modern Jazz with great build quality and sound, with the added benefits of the upgrade pickups, pre and EQ. On a par with the likes of Sadowsky, Overwater, GB, Sei Jazz's. A few spec's: 34" scale, 1.5"-Nut, String spacing is 10mm(nut)-17mm(f22)-20mm(bridge), Schaller tuners (with drop-D/E). Check www.Windmill-guitars.com and for the Jay Tee model and other basses, with soundclips. This bass does appear (photo & proposed specs. - which were originally passive) on the 'StockList' page: pickups & electronics were not then fitted. Base price was €2290. The bass currently lists @ €2800 with std. Windmill pickups and passive VVT setup. The upgrades to Lindy Fralins and Sadowsky Active/Passve with 2EQ and VTC would take it closer to €3k (rrp, of course). Windmill basses are now stocked at Bass Direct (UK) http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp...tars_Stock.html With the Jazz models:- http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_sp...Bass_JBass.html from £1200+ (Basic J4) to £2000+ for the Signature models. The JT bass appears to be no longer available and the 'Windmill' signature headstock logo to have been replaced with a simple 'W'. This 3+1 headstock also appears to be unique. Comes with a gig-bag £1100 .. reduced to £999 ... £888
Payment sent. Thanks Dave, looking forward to receiving the bass .

SOLD******* Six months old and in immaculate condition. Picked this up as a spare amp (and to spare my back) and have used it a few times at rehearsal. It's a great sound but I just like the Eden sound (I have a WT400 plus and a WT800B) so I guess my back is just going to have to keep on suffering. Comes with Gig Bag and Rack Mount - looking for 425 GBP.
