1. I've always thought these look sooooooooooooooooooo cool !
2. Is this still available ?
3. If there were no for sale section then how would the site manage ?
4. Would it not be better to have set the fee at say £5 and have maybe 500 for sale adverts over a given period of time, rather than set it at £20 and only have say 50 adverts ? Those are only just figures plucked from the ether of course, but you see my point ?
5. I think the £20 fee puts people off. There was a post the other week from someone who wanted to sell a bass, but couldn't afford the fee. I sold a condenser mic a couple of weeks ago, I only wanted £70 for it, but take off the £20 and that leaves me with just £50, almost a 3rd of the price. I sold it via Gumtree in the end, it cost nothing and sold within two hours.

7. It's probably just me, but having looked at the real merchandise I find myself asking why would anyone want a Basschat lanyard ?
8. I watched at DVD of their's at uni a few months ago (we have some very cool classes !), it was them at the Cambridge folk festival I think, amazing show !
9.
Hi, is it the USB version by any chance?
Hi, No, it's the 48 volt powered version. I used it with my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface. It's a really nice sounding mic, great for vocals you get a nice low mid bump that works really well.
10. I bought this new from Digital village about 2 months ago. It's been used once for about an hour. A friend has just given me a rather nice Rode mic in payment for some work, so this can go to a new home. They're £89 new. I'd like £50 including next day courier. It comes with the bag, a clip and the original packaging.
11. Any good ? Not TAB I know, but let me know if I can help.
12. These sound a bit similar to the USA 5 strings. Mine has a single sheet pick guard, 18 volt preamp and the battery compartment on the back.
13. Don't actually think I'm supposed to do this, but they don't know who I am so it doesn't matter I guess . Don't know how clear it is, if you need any help just say !
14. I have a transcription on this at home, if you want I can post a photo of it ? It's in standard notation.
15.
I love this song!! It sounds to me like the bassline uses an open F#. Maybe the bass was tuned up a tone (F#, B, E, A). That would make the bassline a bit easier. It's really hard to get the correct articulation otherwise. Another possibility is that it was played in E but then sped up. I dunno... Do any of you hardcore slap guys on here know how to play it?
That would tie in with my varispeed recollection.
16. I vaguely remember reading an interview in a guitar magazine with Nik Kershaw. He openly admitted that he used to cheat loads with his bass playing, varispeed. Didn't his bass player use a JD ?
17. One pair left, though someone has contacted me about them.
18. Sold a Mono strap to laurence. A very easy transaction .
19. As per my other advert, I'm changing the strap locks on my basses. I have a spare set of the strap things in nickel, just the bit that attaches to the strap, not the bass bit. £5 including postage.
20. Continuing my clear out. New and never fitted Fender Precision bass bridge cover. £10 including postage.
21. I've had this lying around for a bit, it's still sealed in it's bag. It has the 'F' for Fender logo stamped onto it. I'd like £6.50 for it please, which includes postage.
22. What a cool bass. Tis a pity I'm so poor .
23. I'm in the process (rather costly considering I have 7 basses ), of changing the strap locks I'm using to Dunlops. I therefore have 2 sets of chrome (though they may be nickel) Schaller straps locks. They're complete, the bit that attaches to the bass and the strap. I'd like £7.50 per set please, including postage.
24. Bought for me as a Christmas present a couple of years ago by a well meaning Mom. It's a great book, in new totally unread condition. £10 Posted within the UK http://www.amazon.co...s+electric+bass
25. This is in excellent condition. It's a very, very good book. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get in to creating realistic orchestral and string arrangements for computer based recording. This is the 3rd edition in hardback. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Guide-MIDI-Orchestration-Paul-Gilreath/dp/0964670534/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1369838259&sr=1-1&keywords=midi+orchestration+3rd+edition I'd like £35 which included UK postage.
