  2. I had the 600 version and it was literally one of the best amps (if not the best) I have ever owned. If I didn't have a glass back I would have kept it forever. In fact I am very tempted despite. Bump bump.
  3. The best bass I ever has was a Westone Thunder 3. I see this is the 22 fret version too. I would have bought it if it wasn't heavier than me!
  4. £120.00 plus delivery to UK mainland. I bought this as a spare but soon after decided to move from P bass to Jazz. Its been well used and has plenty of cosmetic issues the worst of which is a piece missing out of the side of the fret board (it does not affect play though). I have started to repair it with plastic wood but as yet is not finished. Sometimes it has a bit of a rattle which I think is an issue with a couple of the tuning heads as when I rest my hand on them it stops. I bought a set of 4 Squier tuners from Oldslapper on here that I have not fitted but will include in the sale for an extra tenner (that's what I paid). The white scratchplate was on it when I bought it and I do not have the original to include. This bass is priced to reflect the cosmetic issues but still is a decent enough bass to use. This is not a collectors bass! May split if there's enough interest. I'm in Blackburn Lancs but often travel to Millom in the lake district so may be able to drop off within reason.
  5. Were these around in the 70's and 80's? 6. Hi thanks for that, this setup sounds fab! The actual floor space taken up is only about 14 inch square. Plus being wedge shaped it will make a great floor monitor if needed. I can't believe I have been looking that long and the answer may well have been on my doorstep all along!
  7. I've been searching for a small footprint extension cab for ages. Then I remembered I have some 2x10 Turbomax pa tops 450w at 8ohm. I have just tried it out with my little Redsub 500w combo. It puts out 250w per side and requires an 8ohm extension. So with the combo speaker that's 3x10's running at 4ohms which should give me maximum output. I have also tried it with my little Promethean 300w combo which is similar in requirements. It sounds really well. Has anyone any thoughts about the setup? Thanks...

  9. I sold Wooks an Orange cab. Great communication. Turned up bang on time and haggled not! Great chap to deal with. Thanks...
  10. He might take less than the £285 bin if someone messaged him with an 'offer'. There would be about £30 fees anyway...
  11. Somebody has bid and the buy it now has gone. It will probably now sell for more than what the £285 bin price was!
