1. I've just found some Precision Select EMG model SEP pickups at home I've had for quite a long time. Does anybody know if they are any good? Thanks...

3. No No No, two basses is not enough. I want them all but she wont let me...
4. It looks like he cut a hole in it and dropped a strat pickup in it to me! 5. My first bass was truly the worst bass ever made but somehow I still have fond memories of it. It cost me £16.00 off a mate (some f**king mate) in 1979. It was some sort of P/J cross. No name to it (as if anybody would have put their name to that). The action was higher than the thickness of my thumb. Whatever strings went on it, they were always really tight and it sounded like the voice of the Boing Boing Boy. It was truly crap. I think my brother may still have it! If he has I will get it back and use it as a pass it on bass on here. You will be surprised what the Japanese can do with a piece of wood...

7. Virtually new and well below the retail price, I've only played it for a few hours and its never left the house. Nice Wilkinson hardware. On the fretboard there are some lighter patches, they were there when I got it and they cause no issues. http://www.performin.../vintageav4.htm . I have a cardboard shipping box and packaging so it should be safe in transit or you can collect from BB22SH. Package weighs approx. 6kg (including packaging) and measures 124x51x12cm

9. There must be somebody with £460 to buy this? Mine cost me about a grand... Bump
10. A mate of mine has one exactly the same. I think his is either 76 or 78? I cant ask him at the mo as he is away. He has had it from new and has recorded extensively with it. It is absolutely brilliant. A real joy to play. I use it now and again and its tone and playability cannot be faulted. To be honest I'm not too keen on the colour and neither is he but it sounds blummin good though!
11. The thing that gets me is - yes the bass is bad enough but two people have bid on it? I cant imagine one person wanting it, never mind two! Reggie Perrin couldn't sell that! ??????????
12. Hi, that bass has attracted some attention on here before - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/207566-cheap-1977-precision/page__fromsearch__1 I think the general consensus is to stay away!
13. One of a kind. Through neck, just short of 5kg, Schaller tuners, brass nut. Custom built by Gordon Smith in 1991. Rarely played, never gigged but has fret wear and dings consistent with its age. Plays well. Selling as its just lying around.
