I use a Genz Benz Shuttle 210 with a Tonebone Bassbone. shuttle is set pretty flat, EB into channel 1 of the shuttle and DB or EUB into channel 2 which has a v powerful EQ. Match channel volumes and youre away. It also has a very good DI as does the shuttle.

I didnt realise it was new. that doesnt sound right at all. Mine went after over two years of giging.I use quite a bit of dirt on the gain as well.

Sounds like the valve on the way out Clarky. Same thing happened to me mid gig. Dead easy to change

Welcome to the world of Stagg Fumps. You wont regret it for a second. I dont know if you found the 2 mini mega Stagg Eub threads that have been running for a few years now. There are some good snippets of information buried in them. On the subject of the holes for the braces, IIRC , they are a push fitting and the easiest way to fit the pins is to insert one pin, push and rotate until its fully in. Then take it out and repeat with the other hole. Be sure and protect the body of the bass from being scratched by the other pin. Once theyve been fitted, removal and refitting are a doddle. Break a leg for the gig. I did my first DB gig last month and had a blast. Relax get into the moment and enjoy ALL the attention. You are now officially the focal point of the band.. In a good way.

We've been delaying the release of issue 03 while we implement some pretty big changes to the way in which iBass works. Essentially, we're dividing each issue and making the main pages available for free. We're also introducing a new area called 'iBass Xtra', which will give paying subscribers access to a bunch of exclusive pages featuring extended video edits, subscriber only interviews, lessons and competitions. We're also making iBass available on the iPad this month.. It's all taken some time to re-program hence the delay, but we're almost there now and aim to be back up and running this week. Once again, apologies for the wait and please do let us know your thoughts on these changes. If you're not entirely happy by all means give us a call and we'll happily offer you a refund. I bought a Bass Max pick up from Golihurs and it was seemless. Great site and quick delivery. Will definately use them again
