1.
The Thumb SC has to be one of the ugliest basses I've seen in a while. P
Totally agree. Looks like a Photo-Shop experiment gone wrong...
2. It doesn't matter what they do to a Corvette, the still look funny
3.
The Bass Centre strikes again.
To be fair, they've offered to throw in a set of strings for free because of circumstances completely out of their control that has affected most of the country. I think they've been quite generous.
4. IME, music gear + Windows 7 drivers are a rare thing. I'm running XP on 1 machine so I can run Pro Tools. I can't find drivers for pretty much any of my gear
5. How much for the RP-80? I could be interested in this if you wanted to sell it for cash rather than trade...
6. Does this come with a PSU?
7. I can understand that mate, no problem Good luck with the sale.
8. Fancy a trade? - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=43599
9.
Try these fellers:- http://www.endlessknobbing.com/
hmmm, pricey those ones... very nice though.
10. If you're coming down south in the near future then I'll have this off you mate. I think these are great looking basses!
11.
wouldnt that be the OPB3TK/PP?
The TK/PP has separate treble and bass pots with the push/pull mid pot. This needs 4 control routes on the front of the bass for 4 pots - the 3 I've mentioned plus the volume. The SK/PP only needs 3 as the treble and bass pots are stacked into 1. Most Corvettes from this era only had 3 pots? I might be wrong, but if you only have 3 then it's the SK/PP that you need to go for if you're trying to keep it as simple as possible.
12.
...like an earthquake piano.
Now that is something I want to hear!!
13.
Bump!
Pics would massively help with this I think - I'm genuinely interested to see what this looks like.
14. That looks very nice :brow:
15. Not sure where you are, but I'm gigging the L410 twice this month in Portsmouth if you want to check it out? I like having my backline loud so you might get to hear it quite well, but I guess it depends how well I manage to convince the sound guy to let me have it loud
16.
5. To stop trading basses and amps and be happy with what I have got
me too
17. In no rush to sell, but would take £500 collected for this now.
18. To play 20 gigs. To become reasonably competent with fretless playing. Don't let my piano playing slip as a result of complete apathy.
19. Looks like it could be a SGC Bass Collection body? Only 3 controls though...
20.
last time i sent a guitar it was £25 for next day delivery if you can find it cheaper let me know
http://www.senditnow.com/index.epl
21.
thanks a lot for getting that up. I should be able to manage the OBP3 and 1 battery then i reckon. Just need to buy it and get it fitted, then maybe some new pickups
Sounds good. I'd recommend wiring it as 18V to get the best out of it though. If your Corvette has 3 pots on it already then it's probably the OBP-3SK/PP version that you want to go for as this would be the most straightforward installation, i.e. you won't have to do any routing/drilling. This version has the stacked Bass/Treble pot with the push/pull mid pot.
