1. Band 2 for me. In fact I answered the ad in October and have my second and third gigs with the band this weekend. EDIT - Here's the proof:
2. I don't really care about the diameter as long as they sound good. EDIT: I draw the line at tweeters in bass cabs though - they are the work of Satan.
3. Tried one of these not long ago - happily qualifies as a 'super Jazz' in my opinion.
4.
Surely that will be a Mandelbrot fractal? Eventually the pattern will repeat and Blue will explain why the Beatles changed the world.
5. Excellent and informative review, cheers Mr Rock!
6.
With the best will in the world, this is just never going to work because it requires people to get things right when they post their ad or sell an item. On a daily basis we still end up moving numerous adverts to the correct forums and if people can't get that basic step right then any further layers of granularity are just going to result in dozens of extra subforums full of stuff that doesn't belong there. Whilst I can see the logic in what is being proposed, the reality is that forum (which is what we are of course!) software simply isn't geared up to do heavy duty e-commerce stuff.
Quite right. Commercial selling websites have honking great databases in the background, that users can search on multiple parameters (whether or not they realise it!)
7.

Ok that's a 1/8in jack socket. You need to be sure that you have positive going to the tip of the DC plug, negative to the 'sleeve'. The Pedal should work off 9V but it may have a bit less headroom. I used to have one of these, and I think I have the circuit at home (on hols at mo). I think DOD specify 10V because it drops about a volt across a diode that protects the circuit from incorrect polarity. If your lead is centre negative you will need to get an adaptor to reverse the polarity.
8. Hi can you tell me what connector is used where the mains cable plugs into the unit? It will most likely be an IEC connector ('kettle lead' with 3 flat pins) or clover leaf (3 circular-section pins). I've Googled for images but without success.
9.
1996 model I think.
Could you post a pic of the pedal's DC socket?
10. Ah well, just thought I'd offer - I didn't realise 'Lost in space' means 'Isle of Wight'!
11. If you are passing Swindon I'll be happy to take a look at the pedal for you.
12.
No time for the band as she is busy trying to get pregnant?
Maybe the band could all help in that regard? Obviously I mean by giving her time to be with her other half.
13. I don't really see a problem with BC market place as it is. You can easily set the scope of your search using the drop-down options.
14. 2 possibilities spring to mind: - wrong polarity on the mains adaptor - if it's an early model with a 1/8in jack, that will be centre positive, whereas the Boss 'standard' used by the majority of makers is centre negative; or - there is an internal fault which is stopping current flowing form the DC jack to the circuit.
15. I usually start with a note-for-note transcription from the original, but inevitably I end up departing from this. What really annoys me is when people clearly haven't paid any proper attention to the original and just play 'what they think'.
16.
Looks like it was painted with a Homebase wallpaper brush - by a crew of Bonobos
Nah, bonobos would have been too busy shagging each other to be able to paint that badly.
17.
Early March according to my sources... D.
What year though?
18. The Orangery at Blenheim Palace: Although we had to load in through a window!
19.
... going forward...!
Are you in management Pete?
20. I've had 2 basses and a guitar from Wunjo, great shops.
21.
It's the worst thing I've ever seen.
22. 'Some of the fret bars have fallen off'. You don't say!
23. That dood talks sense! My guess is that the phasing issue is more noticeable on a 2-pickup setting because it is a more harmonically complex signal.
24.
The speakers that I have intimate knowledge of and did compare are Bergantino HT112ER and EX112ER which are the deepest sounding followed by Markbass Traveller 121H then Bergantino AE112 least deep.
But what does 'deep' mean? And could it just be a baked-in resonance peak?
