1. I was the same until I tried a £1,000 instrument and realised it had something extra. Not 2 or 3 times as good as a £500 instrument but worth the extra to me. And that's the key - if it's worth the extra to you, you will pay it. My record now is £2,495...
2. Some collection points have a size/weight limit because of limited space to store large/heavy stuff like basses and amps.
3.
I'm not keen on an active Fraudster. Can these be converted to passive?
4.
Hi is this still available mate??
Indeed it is.
5. Monday already bump!
6. I'd love to try an Ampeg PF50T with my Barefaced cabs - anyone taking one to the SE Bass Bash?
7. I had one of these, very well made basses. GLWTS
8. Whilst packing up after a gig I tried to jump onto the stage but didn't quite get my foot high enough. I scraped the whole length of my shin against the edge of the stage. Stinging rawness followed by aching scabbiness. Ouch.
9. But no, you won't blow up your bass amp by playing guitar through it. Whether it sounds any good is another matter entirely.
10. I was a bit embarrassed at how many drummers I had never heard of, given that drummers are rather important to us bass players!
11.
The pickups look like Yamaha soapbars, the headstock suggests a TRB.

The control knobs on a TRB are angled and the truss rod access it at the body end. I'm curious about that 12th fret marker too.
I clearly spend too little time staring at pictures of bass guitars
12. The pickups look like Yamaha soapbars, the headstock suggests a TRB.
13. Pairing two dissimilar cabs is unlikely to work well. Keep the one you prefer and get a second one; sell the other cab.
14.
Our singer, who also plays in three other bands, was always nursing throat problems. She then went for vocal training and hasn't suffered since.
I had one (count it: 1) singing lesson and that made a massive difference to how I use my voice.
15. I fronted a band for 4 years and never once cancelled over a sore throat. I went ahead with one gig despite being on the mend from a heavy cold and only just got away with it.
16. I had a Yamaha BBG in almost exactly that finish. I really liked it, but you don't get the 3D ripple that real flamed maple has.
17.
This is not helping my GAS for a mustang!!
