1.
it might just be the camera angle or something but it looks a little bit like the scratch plate on the bottom horn doesn't quite follow the horn's shape? as I say it may just be lens distortion or something.
The scratchplate is just really just a template for the neck joint / pickups for Jim to make one, it was a scrap one that I had kicking about and you are right, it looks a bit thin on the lower horn
 2. That's looking good already

 6.
I’ve nearly finished building a maple neck, with a maple fretboard and wenge block inlays. J.
Where's the build thread? Sounds interesting!
 7.
Did that happen at all volume levels or just when things got louder...?
Yes at volume, it was the vibration screwing with the solder (solderless nearly) joint
 8.
http://basschat.co.uk/topic/202865-squier-japan-stratocaster/

Dont know what year this one is (its not mine) but it looks like a right bargain to me??
9. We had the same problem with passive mackie 300z which look the same and might be similar inside but without the amp. Turned out all it was was one of the output wires from the crossover inside the cab had a bad solder joint, easy free fix. That was a few months ago and not had any probs since
 10. Just recieved an amp from Steve. Packed well and easy transaction. Very Happy THANKS
 11.
Nah, but quite a few other owners were of the same opinion, so it's safe to assume it was OK. Unless there was a faulty batch, of course. Plus, I think the new owner was happy enough.
I hate writing negative comments on amps as not everyone likes the same thing (thankfully) but this is one that i feel very stongly about. I had an RH450 for a while and tried everything to get it to sound right to me. I downloaded the mid centre frequency charts etc and spent a long time with it and it really did nothing for me. It worked and no probs with volume, remained clear at high levels but very bland and totally lacked character I've since spoke to 2 other ex-RH450 owners who say the same thing. Try before you buy, but it did sound good at home volume and on its own cranked up but crap in our typical pub band doing rock covers. All the MB stuff i've heard live sounds great (but never owned one)
 12. couldnt agree more! Total groove playing like no one else
 13. try and raise the pickup - that makes a HUGE difference to output, some pickups need to be quite close to the strings for best tone, my nordstand P5 wants to be real close before it sound amazing and dropping it just a mm or 2 makes it a lot quieter and sounds crapper
 14. Thats a pain, I miss-read your post
I'm stripping down , treating for woodworm then soaking for a few days in cellulose wood hardener.
Thought you were stripping down and treating yourself for woodworm and soaking in wood hardener
 15. If the truss rod buzzes about the 12th it might not be truss rod, normally only need to tighten truss rod if it's the higher frets (above 12th) that buzz. (and slacken truss rod if its the low frets) Can you post a photo of the bow in the neck?
 16.
It is
How much would it be to post?

 18.
This video must go down as the most posted video on any forum there is.
Oooh... I should have guessed that it would have been here before, sorry. Just made me laugh after resent 'problems' with drummers in our band

 20.
Are you staying natural? For some reason I see a hi-gloss trans finish on it... *burbles insanely*
Just a high gloss clear i think.... I've got a few other little projects to finish before continuing with this, but I really wanna crack on with this
 21.
My Roscoe : http://soundcloud.co...o/smooth-roscoe
Thats amazing
 22.
That body is amazing! I would be worried that a figured maple board may be too much bling, just my opinion though and happy to be proven wrong!
I think you might be right, the birds eye I've got is not too figured but maybe just plain maple would be better
 23. Will now consider trade for compressor pedal
