1. The bass looks great. I don't want to hijack the thread but what is the difference between a 62 and 70s reissue. My 62 looks identical but has a 42mm nut, US pickups, alder body and CTS pots.
2.
I may be wrong but isn't the one designated PB70-**US made of alder, and the non US designated model made of basswood?
Thats right ... US spec had Alder body as far as I know. My CIJ P bass has alder body and US pickups with 42mm nut width.

4. I have both versions and the second edition is worth every penny of £4.99
5. I've used smith strings and found them to be really good sounding and will last. You coud just keep them on or change them, this may mean a slight adjustment to the truss rod. If you like what you have now, do nothing and enjoy your new toy.

Just found this.... http://www.shukerguitars.co.uk/jjburnel.html JJ is now using an Artist.
9. I am really pleased with this though, it has that upper register "honk" a lovely brassy fretless tone. Just have a look for now and I will upload a youtube link when I get around to making a video. Cheers. It sure stinks....

16. Our drummer and guitarist has decided to move on to pastures new next month, so could you guys ask your drummer / keyboard friends if they would like to join a bunch of Berkshire / Surrey based Wrong'uns. http://www.reverbnation.com/wronguns We rehearse a couple times a month near Reading / Wokingham and play a few gigs here and there.
