1.
I want so badly!!! Would you consider what I have to offer? My Trade on Basschat
Sorry, not really my thing.
2. How about a big map where you can place/pin your for sale ads, so you can easily find local basses for sale? Sorry to use big font like some annoying ebay seller but I wanted to get my idea noticed.
3.
Well at least it's "pick up only so you can see what you are getting" this time
Maybe if you try and pick up he attacks you with his power sander.
4. Wow, the basschat leftorium! Makes me wish I was a lefty.
5.
Watched with a bass on my lap! Inspirational stuff...
+1 again And i've watched it both times it's been on.
6. Thought I had a buyer but he hasn't replied to my last PM which I sent almost a weeek ago. So I guess this is still up for grabs.
7. I've been offered that 'Custom Job' (painted by a five year old) Stingray 5 for £490 as the buyer dropped out or something. I bid on it this morning hoping to get it for that sort of price and do it up myself, but something else came up on this forum this afternoon which I had to have, so sadly I won't be able to rescue it.
8. Definately interested. Probably without EMGs though. I'll just have to wait to see what happens with another bass i'm trying to get at the moment.
9. If you search back through the for sale threads you can see and remember that it used to be normal to see standard stingrays going for £850. I think there was a real bad patch during late summer where on ebay people were selling stingrays for £500 or sometimes even less.
10. I'll take the neck. EDIT: In fact, i'll take both. What's the cost of postage?
11.
That would be me then. So, so happy with it, really beautiful instrument. We share the same year of birth too.
Bugger, just PMd john asking to buy it from him and now I see this. If you ever decide to part with it please let me know straight away.
12. The reason for the sterling is beacause on my ray I love the tone of old heavy guage strings for fingerstyle playing, but I play alot of slap so i'd use thin strings on the sterling and change them regularly for a bright slap sound. Otherwise if I bought a Precision I would use that prodominantly for fingerstyle and restring my ray for slap. However I am leaning towards the jazz at the moment as they are very versitile. (and i've dealt with john (the seller) before) Oh what to do?!?!
13. Basically I spend alot of time looking around, scouting out my next bass. Usually I can't find the right money or the right bass at the right time. But now I have the money and four potential basses have come up and I don't know which direction to turn. So the candidates are: -Fender CIJ Precision 62 reissue -Squier JV series Precision (with EMGs) -Musicman Sterling 2001 in medallion gold -Fender Jazz (Japanese) 1984-87 Just looking for the advice and experience of others to help me decide. Didn't want to make it a poll because I wan't to choose it myself but with extra information.
14. That would be great if you could, as long as it's not too much trouble. If it's legit and doesn't sell it will no doubt be relisted so there should be some time. The guy seems genuine through his description but that zero feedback really scares me.
15. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=270323716229 I've fallen in love with this bass, it's exactly what i've been looking for but the seller has no feedback. I wan't the bass but can't afford to risk a possible scam. Anyone know the seller?
16. That's exactly what a fender P should look like. You simply can't beat olympic white with tort.
17. Stunning result, wish I could do that. Looking forward to the mkII, any chance of a musicman build too?
18. I checked the video for 'unholy' and it does seem to be the same or a similar bass used. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nwMpLHaDAq4 Seen best around 1:07-1:14.
19. Ok lads, up for sale at last i think. Offers no less than £450 and i'd prefer to do a deal where buyer picks up or organises their own courier to pick up.
20. Does it come with a hard case it can be shipped in?
21. This is dangerously tempting. Hmm... i'll see how things go.
