  4. Many thanks to all for your advice and recommendations.....what a great place the Basschat forum is.. Please keep your comments coming. Cheers, Woody
  5. Could you put him in touch with me please. Cheers, Woody
  6. I have a budget of around £1500, so which model, new or used would you recommend please. I've never played a Spector before so I don't know a lot about them. My search for a Warwick Streamer LX 5 that I missed out on a couple of years ago on here are very hard to find unfortunately. Thanks in advance, Woody.
  7. A great restoration job mate...I used to have one of these in the 70's before l could afford a real one....fond memories.
  8. This is a top quality bass, both in build quality and tone, it sounds phenomenal and exactly as a P bass should. Excellent condition apart from a tiny ding at the back of the strap button at the bottom of the bass and can barely be seen even up close. I have upgraded the bass with the following - Norstrand NP4a pickups /CTS pots /Switchcraft jack /WD Black 3 ply scratch plate /tug bar. Set up by the man himself...Mr Jon Shuker and is extremely easy to play all up the fretboard. Ernie Ball Super Slinky 45/60/80/100 strings fitted. Sorry I don't have the original parts as I really didn't intend selling this bass ever. Only selling as I've had to buy a new central heating boiler which cost a fortune. Comes with the original fender gig bag in top condition as it hasn't been used for gigging. Absolutely any trial welcome. Sorry no trades thanks. I really don't want to courier this bass due to no packaging/bad experience, so pick up preferred but would drive a reasonable distance to meet up with petrol cost. I would consider 2 instalment payments. I will also include my hardly used Tascam bass trainer with original power supply.

  10. Just 2 words......absolutely fabulous 👌
  11. Its a long shot, but is it still for sale mate?
  12. WOW a piece of 80's magic!
  13. Would make a fantastic power amp for a PA. These are proper power amps and expensive to buy brand new. Great price too!
  14. Great pickups, l have some on my Mexican Vintage 1957 precision!
  15. I had the Mesa D800 about 5 years ago and only had it for a matter of months. I found it very dull and unexciting...but the the Puma is anything but. For reggae boost the low mids, turn the treble to 10 o'clock and the tast to 3 o'clock and thers your sound👍
  16. Absolutely amazing amps, l bought the same model from ossyrocks on here at Basschat and l couldn't be happier! It's made my 2 other amps redundant tbh. Light, powerful and you can dial in or out any tone you want and the taste control is a revelation. Glwts but you won't need it mate....
  17. Very nice indeed and a great price too. I have one in sunburst and after adding some norstand pups it's easily one of my favourites basses to play.
  18. If they are long scale which l presume they are l'll take these please. Cheers.
  19. Great little amps these and very powerful, if you know, you know...good price too.glwts
  20. Very nice and useful bit of kit. Glwts
  21. An unbelievable piece of Bass amplification royalty. Pure quality both in construction and sound. Absolutely amazing condition too! Our roadies back in the day would have thrown it all head first into our transit van....
