The whole idea of trying a bass in a shop is to get an idea if it suits your own playing style and technique, not to impress the punters you'll never meet again and the numptys that work there who have to listen to that sort of crap day in, day out!

My vote is for two 212s as well, the rig is awesome, and i can't stop playing with it! All of my basses have never sounded so different to one another!

It gets worse: I called guitarguitar again this morning as I hadn't heard a peep since the guy on Monday afternoon said he would part deliver. It turns out that nothing has been dispatched since Monday. I don't know what they were waiting for but seems they were just twiddling their thumbs! I've now been promised that the whole stack will be dispatched today, and I'll be emailed a tracking number, and it will arrive tomorrow. Should have ordered from Thomann.

Anxiously awaiting my amp. I called yesterday and the guy i spoke to said they had the head but not the cabs! (a complete reversal from last week! Grrr... ) But he then went on to say that he does have one BC212 so he could part ship (the head and one cab and then the other cab later on). So i said yes. Now i'm not sure if it's coming today or tomorrow!!! I'm not likely to order from guitarguitar again....

Well, I'm fed up as I haven't received my TC Electronic stack yet. I ordered late Monday night expecting it to be shipped Tuesday morning with next day delivery for Wednesday. It turned out on Tuesday morning they don't actually have stock of the head (despite saying they had "2 in stock" of the full stack product on the site), and they have no definitive ETA of the head. I am cheesed off, and will be calling the guy every day until I get a proper answer of when it will arrive. Seriously considering buying from somewhere else, but guitarguitar are £40 less for the 212 stack than everyone else, and i've already bought the roqsolid covers and speakon speaker cables (which arrived yesterday!!!). ...sorry, rant over. At least I didn't pay extra for next day....

I'm very tempted... I just gave them a call and they have three of the heads in stock, and the guy i spoke to said they'll re-evaluate the deals when they're gone...

Try contacting Peavey Customer Services with an email or something, they're usually pretty good.
