1. Should be fine, just watch out for required speaker cables! Pretty sure the TC Electronic only has speakon connectors and the Trace Elliot will have jack and xlr connectors?
2. What a beauty. If i had the money i would already be on my way to pick it up.
3. Yum Ibanez Roadstar. What do we expect this will go for?
4. Forum rules say you must state a price!
5.
trust me.. you dont need to slap in a shop at any time anywhere.unless you want actually hear what the bass sounds like slapped......do your thing and try out the bass.. i cant stand people who slap/w*** in shops.. i went into guitar guitar to try a sadowsky and the guy got it down and started doing 100 miles an hour slap before i got to play it.. total idiot.. i dont go into a guitar shop to show everyone my chops.. your buying a bass not there admiration
Can't agree more with this. The whole idea of trying a bass in a shop is to get an idea if it suits your own playing style and technique, not to impress the punters you'll never meet again and the numptys that work there who have to listen to that sort of crap day in, day out!
6. My vote is for two 212s as well, the rig is awesome, and i can't stop playing with it! All of my basses have never sounded so different to one another!
7. It's not quite a BB414x, but there are a few Yamaha BB's in the for sale section on here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=129217 http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=145861
8. It's arrived at last! Just have to wait all day to get it home now... At least I have a rehearsal tonight to give it a try out
9. It gets worse: I called guitarguitar again this morning as I hadn't heard a peep since the guy on Monday afternoon said he would part deliver. It turns out that nothing has been dispatched since Monday. I don't know what they were waiting for but seems they were just twiddling their thumbs! I've now been promised that the whole stack will be dispatched today, and I'll be emailed a tracking number, and it will arrive tomorrow. Should have ordered from Thomann.
10. Anxiously awaiting my amp. I called yesterday and the guy i spoke to said they had the head but not the cabs! (a complete reversal from last week! Grrr... ) But he then went on to say that he does have one BC212 so he could part ship (the head and one cab and then the other cab later on). So i said yes. Now i'm not sure if it's coming today or tomorrow!!! I'm not likely to order from guitarguitar again....
11. Well, I'm fed up as I haven't received my TC Electronic stack yet. I ordered late Monday night expecting it to be shipped Tuesday morning with next day delivery for Wednesday. It turned out on Tuesday morning they don't actually have stock of the head (despite saying they had "2 in stock" of the full stack product on the site), and they have no definitive ETA of the head. I am cheesed off, and will be calling the guy every day until I get a proper answer of when it will arrive. Seriously considering buying from somewhere else, but guitarguitar are £40 less for the 212 stack than everyone else, and i've already bought the roqsolid covers and speakon speaker cables (which arrived yesterday!!!). ...sorry, rant over. At least I didn't pay extra for next day....
12. I just got "connection to localhost:3312 failed". Hope this helps someone!
13. You need to clean your keyboard, that's gross!!!
14. Just placed an order at guitarguitar.co.uk for the 212 stack. Will report back on my findings!!!
15. BUMP - I'm open to offers!
16.
Looks a nice amp. Anyone care to elaborate on what it sounds like?
I found this thread with impressions with a quick search earlier: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...53&hl=bc210 (check Big Mick's response for an in depth view)
17. Quick question for everyone: what sort of difference is there between the 210 and the 212? Would it be best to have a matching pair or one of each? Cheers!
18. I'm very tempted... I just gave them a call and they have three of the heads in stock, and the guy i spoke to said they'll re-evaluate the deals when they're gone...
19. Try contacting Peavey Customer Services with an email or something, they're usually pretty good.
20. The "I really just want rid of this" BUMP.
21. They prevent unnecessary strain on your tonal elasticity!
