1. I think I have the sibling of this bass. What's te weight and the neck profile? Any neck dive or fret wear? Thanks Nick
2. £450 Excellent precision bass but I need a jazz or a second Ric. Run ideas past me for a part-ex. I'm especially keen on American Vintage Jazzes and Rick 4001/4003s. Narrow necks, light weight and Jetglo much appreciated! This bass is extremely high quality and exceeds the American standard series in quality IMO. Warmoth bass spec - 9lbs and very well balanced - surf green ash body - tusq nut - wizard trad pup - badass II - maple/maple neck. It's an 'A' i.e. 1.5 inches wide. Very comfy chunky jazz profile. Sounds very good. - tele headstock with no decal - white tele bass p/guard - schaller tuners - straplocks - cts pots It's a well balanced, great sounding bass with classic thump and growl. Weighs 9lbs. Very good cond with a couple of small dings. You can check it out on youtube here... 5. I was reminded what a heavy hitting bassist sting was back in the day hearing this. Full on rock bass. Really punchy and tight... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQQVm3AV7LI
6. What is the weight on this lovely bass and is there any neck dive/ headstock tug on the left shoulder when strapped? Thanks Nick
7. I have a later model of this soloist bass called the Halo. They are fantastic basses and this is a great price...
8. Drop mister wilkes himself a line here. These were cool basses... http://www.wilkesguitars.co.uk/index.htm
9. no point in splitting really. If it doesn't go as a job lot I'll finish the bass. N
10. That was a lovely J bass. It had a great heavy tone to it but I found the neck just too chunka for my hand. The Bravewood stuff is in a different league though...he makes beautiful instruments...
11. I would hesitate to say I like all singlecuts. But my Adamovic Halo is absolutely incredible. It feels amazing, sounds great and is astonishingly beautiful... 13. Was just listening to him yesterday and didn't know he had died until I saw this thread just now. A great contributor to pop music who's lines will live on for an extremely long time. Which is a major achievement for any one of us. RIP
14. Anyone want to part ex their Celinder or fender AV75RI? Or a lovely P bass?
15. Tricky to say much about the profile as it's the only bass I know well. It's extremely nice to play? Drop chris kelly a line. He has played more basses than I've had hot dinners and had a long session on it. String stop is 105cm. Cheers
16. Seconded. A man who is a cut above in the vintage bass department. Beautiful bass by the way!
