1.
It sounds fantastic with the Streamliner. When I tried out the HD212 a while ago at Bass Direct, I much preferred the detail and clarity of Shuttle although the warmth and roundness of the Streamliner was pretty fab too. Apparently Mark reckons that the CN is a little more detailed on the top end and this really helps open up the Streamliner. Makes sense. I love the organic roundness and warmth of the Streamliner, the bit of girth when you dig in makes it feel really dynamic. The clarity of the Berg is brilliant for picking out this detail in the tone and I suddenly realised on Sunday night that there's nowhere to hide now
Nice looking cab, the hd has more low mid girth which is too much of a good thing with the streamliner. I think the shuttle might sound a bit too bright and thin with the CN 212 for my liking, streamliner should be a really great match with the lows dialled back a touch.
 2.
Just picked up a LM 800, GREAT amp. So much punch and power. Thought I could never cheat on my Ampeg but think a sale may be coming up.
I have the Lm800 as well, I absolutely love it!

 6. Great little amp with volume that defies its size. The Di has been sorted now but is post eq with no option to select pre eq. Love the grit and snarl, bit of a one trick pony but does its trick brilliantly! The ability to drive an 8 ohm cab at full wattage is great as well. I have no personal experience of the cabs, have been told they are ok but not really in the same league as Bergs, Vanderkleys, Baers etc. I found customer service at Orange to be exceptional by the way!
 7. Really dig his Bro Richard as well
 8.
Check out the Vanderkley cabs too.Superb quality and tone.
Very nice cabs.
 9.
Or something you haven't seen yet! And like you say, tone is down to personal preference - one of our earliest Big Baby T customers had a fault with his cabs and they had to come back for repair. He said: "Been having nightmares about having to use the Bergantino's , that must surely say something for your creations !"
Alex, Please don't get defensive, I have just not found anything to date that I like better than Bergs. My gigs range from 200 -2000 people and are really diverse musically, Jims cabs work for me in all situations. If your new cab is the biz who knows I may be tempted.....
 10.
Yes. Yes, they could.
Not for tone, fit, and finish.... Maybe for volume. There are 12's already on the market that are louder such as the ML112, but it sounds nothing like the Berg. All down to personal preference
 11.
In general terms I think the Berg cabs are in a different league from the other brands you've mentioned in terms of build quality, fit & finish etc. I haven't heard the CN212 yet but my local dealer will have them later this week so I'll be able to hear it first hand then
+1, Bergs are sublime. The CN is a little less fat in the low mids compared to the HD, it is also a little brighter in the high mids. Having owned the HD212 I can honestly say that it it the best cab that I have ever used. Weight was the only reason I let it go. The Genz is getting some great feedback on Talkbass and will save you some cash ! Mark does have the CN cabs so it is worth a trip to Warwick. Ken Jung has some clips on YouTube that might be helpful, he is also happy to discuss via pm on Talkbass.

 14. Jims ceramic cabs are still his best works, the neo's are good but the ceramic cabs are things of aural beauty!

 20. Bergantino HD212 with padded cover, bought new from Bass Direct within last six months. Virtually mint and never pushed hard. 700 watts, 4 ohm, sounds awesome and great build quality. Looking for 625 or trade for an HD210/AE210 (vertical) Collection from Leicester, am prepared to meet part way if nesc. Will post some pictures soon!
 21. Just like collecting expensive gear! Are they not quite doing it for you?
