1. How about this......
2. Still trades only Ryan? Mike
3. If you decide to sell this, let me know. Cheers, Mike
4. I've had my coral pink one for nearly 20 years, Elites always worked fine but for the last 13 years, the Picatos I use on everything have worked perfectly well in both of my Kubickis. Cutting the string excess can be a little hit and miss at first but once you get the lengths right, it's easy enough to cut strings using the old string as a guide. Enjoy! Mike
5. Absolutely, give me a shout when you've got time, let me just get past the 'dregs of summer' gigs and I should have a bit of spare time. Mike
6. Don't ask Nick Smith whatever you do!!!!
7. Totally off topic.... Gary, you have no idea what an influence you were on me as a 14 year old taking up bass at school, sat in the audience at a House Music Competition and saying to my dad " that's what I want to do for a living..." ....... and as he constantly reminds me "I need to have a word with him, it's all his fault!" Only joking! Just happy to have caught up with you after the 'wilderness' years. Mike
8. Hi Tony, Do you still have the Neo 4x10 for sale? PM-ed. Cheers, Mike
9. Circuit is the same in both but can be tailored to how you want it so sound. Pickup placement is upto you, I had the neck pickup on my Rumour 4 put closer to the neck compared to standard and I also had the body made about an inch wider the whole way round, was never of fan of the very slim body horns which was a feature back in the early Noughties. You need to try both body shapes and see what works for you but they are customisable to your requirements to a certain point. Neck dimensions again are upto you. Enjoy the process! Mike
10.
It's with regret I'm selling this; it's the bass I always wanted to have! Nov '79 body, Jan '80 neck, tobacco sunburst with a rare rosewood board. It's all Chic on the back pick-up, kinda Gibson EB2ish on the front. The two combined give a slightly sweeter version of a Stingray's tone. Control knobs are (front to back) Volume, Treble, Bass. Mini switches are (front to back) 3-way pick-up selector, phase switch and treble boost. It's got a few knocks and dinks as you'd expect, a new set of bridge mutes (I've still got the original melted ones!) and Schaller strap studs. It's strung with Ernie Ball flats, 45-100. It doesn't have a case; I don't want to send it but I'm prepared to meet up/deliver depending on area. I'm based in London, SE9. I'm looking for around £1495, no trades please but I might well haggle! Any questions please get in touch. Cheers for looking! Nick
Bad timing, otherwise I would be on my way east right now. Best of luck with the sale mate. Hope all is well. Mike
