Dingwall moved on.
Neeeded a change - if only for the sake of it. I reckon i will own a Z3 some day and that will be tbe crest of the hill for me. Need a second mortgage though.
W+T is a sexy beast. Specially the zoid.
Good luck with the sale.
Theres a lot of really really good cheap kit now; but cheap kit when i was starting out 25yrs ago was my AXE bass which was advertised in kerrang.
The worst piece of garbage i ever played. Crackly pots. Bridge came away from body when it was in tune. Strap buttons fell out.
I loved every bass i ever owned, cheap and dear; except this Axe abomination.
Anybody else suffer this?
At what the cost of import tax is set at i try to avoid US purchases.
As if petrol, cigarettes, diesel, PAYE tax and all the rest arent enuf. Bass from across the pond is taxed too.
If i moved to usa it would be cheaper. . . . . . . . .
This is remarkably attractive.
Just as well its not a five string or id be agonising over it more.
Sorry to hear of your retirement. . . Whatever will you do now.
And have a bump.
Anybody seen the Torzal bass in little guitar works website ?
Anybody played one?
Looks like it shouldn't work but its probably very comfortable. Comes wih fanned frets too for Dingwall fans.
At that budget go secondhand. You could get a lot of bass for that.
Lot of people desperate to sell and you cant avoid getting a bargain.
Regarding musicman subs, buy the usa made one. Its streets ahead of the others which i would avoid if i could unless i got to play it first to try it.
Yep.
You gotta wear it.
Go for what you like the look of. Just remember a black bass is like a black car- impossible to keep clean.
My thing is wood finish, if yours is solid colour you will love it as much.
The sound is excellent regardless.
I just took delivery of a spector coda 5 deluxe in amber over maple top with birdseye maple fretboard.
I can safely say it is one of the best combinations of colours in a finish that ive ever seen. Totally cool.
Its propped in the stand so i can stare at it and its nearly too nice to play.
As for how it sounds? Well its pure effortless bliss on a 34" scale.
Go get some.
