1. I would porbably have it if it wasn't on the other side of the world have a free bump for a nice cab!
2. Or, maybe you want to swap it for my old P-bass replica. No idea what it is. It's in sunburst with maple fretboard and it has got that old school, woody P-bass sound
3. Hey man, I have played a Spector recently that my friend owns and he hasn't got a clue what Spector is it. It looked sort of simmilar to this one but it was black-ish. I'm trying to find out which one is it because I loved it to bits and I'm thinking about buying it off him at some point. I would go for yours to be fair if I had the money now Is the one you are selling made in Korea? What's the serial number on it? And obviously FREE BUMP FOR A RIGHT BARGAIN! Cheers, Tom
4. I have to find £80 quid and an excuse to buy my 4th bass first
5. I'm affraid he's not the only one that wants that and can't have it! It wouldn't be that annoying if it didn't cost just 80quid :S
6. Free bump for poor man's Modulus! Shame I'm so skint at the moment :S
7. Maybe the guy didn' know that this is an absolute bargain and he didn't expect all those replies in 15minutes after posting. Maybe he will come back here later this week and check it out or something BTW. This colour is maaaaad! It looks even more mad with red tortoise shell pick guard!!!!
8. I thought so, just double checking... However I got concerned a bit yesterday... I was recording some bass lines at home last night and I had my Input level fairly up high so the signal goes nice and strong through DI and an output level almost at lowest hearable level because it was like 11.45pm and I have used my EQ pedal to boost some highs coming out of my Precision... Anyway the Input level was at about 5/10 or 6/10 and the clip light started to flash so I plugged it into the active input instead. It stopped showing the clip light but it didn't sound any quieter..... Could it be because of such a low output level dialled in (0,5/10 - 1/10) or a compressor set fairly high up? Any clues?
9. Hey guys, I don't know if I put this topic in a right place but I need help. I have started to use a stomp box type bass equalizer to compensate for my dead strings and also just to have this extra fiddling opportunity. Here's the question: I plug my bass into EQ and than cable that up into my amp's input. Should I use a passive one anyway or should I plonk it into an active one? Are there any other consequences of using too much input signal in an passive input other than clipping? Sorry for a noob question but I really do not know :S Regards, Tom
10. Lol, I genuinely can't believe this is still up for sale after over 4 hours
11. Bought an old Jazz Bass copy from Chris. Had no problem what so ever. We have been in touch all the time and the bass was exactly what he said it is and was posted very quickly Cheers Chris!
12. I'm trying to shift this: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/182976-fsft-ashdown-eb-15-180-evo-ii-180w-combo-l150/ Could arrange a courier if you like it
13. I know it might be a bit of a long shot mate, but do you fancy trading just Hartke 3500 for Ashdown EB 15-180 Evo II combo?
14. Hi, I would love to trade my Ashdown combo for a bass head of similar value. It's a very good practice/rehearsal amp which I think will do very well with playing gigs as it has very good XLR line out and Ashdown's VU meter so you can get your signal nice and clean through PA and still use it as a monitor. Also it would be loud enough to play a gig on it as it is. It has got the same pre-amp as MAG series, just smaller power amp section. The amp is in absolutely mint condition except little scratch on metal grill. It has never been gigged. Bought it off a guy who used it for studio recording at home, because I needed it for a gig at the local pub, but they wanted me straight through PA anyway so I use it to play along with YouTube... I wouldn't mind keeping it but it takes way too much space along with my 2x10 cab, plus I definitely don't need that much of a stack in my tiny flat Will trade for Ashdown MAG 300, Hartke HA2500, Gallien-Krueger Backline 600, Trace Elliot GP7 etc. Might trade for something better with money your way. I probably would sell it for around £130-£150 if picked up. Here are the photos: Pics from the auction I bought it off: Cheers, Tom
15.
Very surprised at that price. This is another to add to the growing "wish I had the cash" list.
+1 on that one mate. I want a P-bass, MM, Jazz and a Modulus FB4. I have all of them except the last one and at that price it really is a steal. I wish I had the cash.... Good luck with the sale mate and a free bump for a rare, legendary bass!
16. Free Bump for Marshall MB! Great amps, best ones in their price range! I have MB4210 Combo and it's an absolute gem! Good luck with your sale mate!
17. Hey, I might be interested in a 210 cab. Where is it at the moment? Could I pop in and try it out? I could pick it up from around Bristol no problem. Cheers, Tom
18. Hi, I have figured it out myself already. The best way to do it is to get some sort of USB Audio interface that works with Mac. There are two of them that I looked at: Griffin iMic (£20 range) and Line6 'something someting' GX (£70 range) You basically plug that in to your USB and it gives you audio input and output via JACK. Then you basically plug a normal mixer to it and off you go. I have ordered the iMic thingy and I will keep you post it how is it. I heard it's a bit noisy and easy to clip... We will see Take care guys!
