1. Just updating this. We recorded on Saturday, at their home base (our singer is friends with one of the owners) Really good quality setup, hard disk and Pro tools setup, the engineers are really nice blokes. The isolation booth is a bit small, so our drummer had to go into a seperate room, but he uses a huge kit, most drummers should fit inside the caravan. It is incredibly dead in there. I've been in some dead rooms, but that that thing is incredible. We will going back to do vox and pixie dusting the track, then i'll up load for you guys to hear. All in all, one of the best studio experiances i've had.
2. Right, big price drop time. £270. Can't say much better...
3. Weird noises? I'll see if i have anything that fits the bill...
4. Danelectro Black Paisley? Ibanez PD7 Phat-Hed?

9. Escholl, that is a mental sound. Top marks
10. Looks like a good umit. How many fx can it run at once?one from each bank? or all 12 stomps worth?
11.
Try the Line 6 M13, I got one today, it's pretty amazing and very simple to use. You get a whole load of very good effects that are all user changeable, and a 28 second looper. I've only had it about 2 hours, but I'm finding it very easy to use, you can have chords played with a nice mutron sound on them, add a nice unaffected bass line, and then solo over the top with a touch of reverb.
Quick question about the m13. Can you only have one effect from each bank on at a time?
12. Simon Gallup- The Cure Drew Roultte- Dredg Chris Wolstenholme- Muse

16. Is that the one at Wunjo? If it's still there on thursday , i'll be having it
17. if you can build pedals from scratch, the Craig Anderton book "Electronic projects for Musicians" has a noise gate with and external trigger input, for using it as a pseudo programmable tremolo if you have a drum machine or something.
18. Hi guys. Thinking about getting a pod again (had one for about a fortnight, couldn't get on with it, mostly cos i couldnt be arsed to figure it out). Just wondering if anyone has any experiance using a Pod with external pedals (Fuzzes mostly). Does it sound ok? I wasnt really too fussed with the POD distortion sounds, that was my major gripe. Any input on the matter appreciated. matt

Stereo rig
These look pretty good: http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/yamaha...gepas-300/67630 (or the 500w version) http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/72146 Anyone tried these? ped
Be careful with those kind of pa's. They never seem to be really Stereo. Dual mono at teh best. Normally just one power amp for both speakers though. Edit: just read throught hose two. They are stereo. My bad.

Uk Promoters?

Hi there guys. My band (www.sunflies.co.uk) are looking to book a bunch of gigs up and down the country to support our new CD release (a pseudo tour if you will). I sorta need you guys' help. Would you be able to recommend a promoter local to you, or a good venue or the like. We could leave it up and have it as a nice mini database of uk promoters. Appreciate any help. Thanks Matty
24. seriously want this, but seriously cant afford it
25. In My Bass and Other Animals, Guy Pratt said that he played a bass with one delay on it, whilst Jon Carin played a second bass part on a synth. I just use a delay, two repeats, tap tempo. Sounds good enough to me, not perfect, but sounds close.
