1. Bit late in the day but as a Farida endorsee, I have to say that the FJB 20 is still production and was never put out at £700! A damn nice bass though.
2. Really wish I hadn't seen this....
3. Agree, this has been my tuner of choice for 12 months. Best on the market for me. Have a xmas bump.
4. If you haven't already, have a look on the hipshot website. You should see the equivalent tuner, if in doubt, ask them.
5. Not a great fan of the Terror bass amps tone wise, but I used one for years when I was the houseplayer in a local club. No issues with it at all...Orange in my experience have always been super reliable....
6. Hi folks, I've asked to dep for a 3 hour theatre show covering a lot of stuff I'm not too clued up on with not a lot of time to get it down. Has anyone found a Bass equivalent of the Riffstation software, or tried using it for isolating bass parts? Cheers, Mart.
7. I used the (now discontinued from the looks of things) SP410 on a tour of the states in 2011. It was loud enough but doesn't have have the same punch and depth as the standard OBC410. Convenience aside, I'd stick with the standard 410 or get the OBC115.
8. Hopefully your doctor will get to the bottom of things. I suffered with something similar a few years back. Turns out the cause was simply dehydration of my body. Taking in more water and daily inputs of vitamin B6 tablets sorted it out within two weeks. Lots of good advice been given here, hope you find the right solution.

10. In no particular order, I've used Barcus Berry B3150, Underwood, Rev solo, Nanoflex, Fishman BP100, KK golden trinity mic, and a kk bassmax. Of the afforementioned, the only one I got on with was the Barcus, a very true tone but reliability issues coupled with having to strap the units preamp to the tailpiece meant goodbye. I currently use a Gage realist (original version) and a Fishman full circle into a Raven labs PMB2 preamp. Was intending to try out the new Gage Soundclip but have heard a few rumblings about build quality issues.
11. To me, the Soundclip is a modified version of the Barcus Berry B3150 that I was using ten years ago. Although it was one of the truest sounding pickups I'd ever used, there were certain issues with it that led to me getting shut. I saw the Pattituci demo on youtube and was very excited at what I heard...Based on your experience, I'll think I'll hold fire for now.....
12. One set still available, there may be more but buggered if I can find them!
13.
Out of interest, what happens to all the leftover stock? Surely there must be boxes of ready made pickups that we could still buy until he runs out, or was it a case of the pickups were made when you placed an order?
From my experience, Andy made pickups to order as and when required. He did all my rewinds though, anyone have recomendations on who to use now?
14. D'Addario Pro Steel Bass strings. Heavy gauge 55-110, a very bright and crisp Piano like tone. Several sets available, not sure. I'll have to route them out. £5.00 + £2.00 postage. Discount postage for multiple purchases. Cheers.
15. I bought one.....Thought it was a total tone sucker and a pile of pants.....Needless to say, its gone back.
