1. thats gorgeous!
2. +1 on the jazz at the bridge... go for it if you want; It will sound great, but youll need a hot one, I find the one in the bridge position on my p special a bit weak tbh
3. Hey... I think you need to get some better pics - those are tiny so we cant really see the bass, and think about the price. You've put £400 in your first post, and I know you said offers, but £400 seems like a lot - check out the new price of these, decide what you want, put that price and then invite offers. HTH.
4. Bump on the boss, ibanez and Behringer. Will accept offers on all, and trades (maybe). Cheers peeps. Alex.
5. 6. Well, its a specific Bass EQ, so its meant to be dealing with the lower end of things :-p Its good, when you really get it going, especially mid to high it can get a bit hissy, but nothing too intrusive, especially at gigging volumes, but prob not ideal for studio use. I always think the thing about behringer stuff is that its a good way to try an effect/pedal. If its not you, no big financial loss... Alex.
7. Bass synth wah sold pending the usual!
8. Bump... I'll whack them on ebay if i get no interest here. Open to offers or trades. Alex.
9. Boss Dyna Drive (DN-2) The DN-2 is an exciting new type of overdrive pedal that reacts to the intensity of your performance. This unique BOSS pedal comes equipped with the acclaimed Dyna Amp technology recently introduced in Roland’s popular CUBE-60 amp, letting you create unique tone transitions based on picking dynamics. It’s possible to get a transparent clean output sound by playing softly, or a powerful heavy overdrive sound by picking aggressively. Provides dynamic transition between clean to heavy overdrive based on picking strength and/or guitar volume Very Good condition, with some scuffs on one side. Looking for £40 Ibanez Phat Head (PD7) Loaded with growling low-end distortion! The Ibanez Tone-Lok Series PD7 guitar effects pedal puts the rock bassist right there with the rock guitarist when it comes to the distortion factor. It's armed with 3 preamp style voicings and an attack control switch which accents the amount of harmonic content in your sound. With its drive, low, high, and level knobs, dialing in a thunderous bass sound has never been easier. On the outside, Tone-Lok effects are equipped with the Ibanez exclusive set and forget Push-Lok rotary pots. Push the knobs down and your tone settings lock securely inside the case—no more lost settings or broken knobs. On the inside, Tone-Lok pedals feature hi-fidelity components carefully tweaked with the constant input from a new generation of Ibanez players. And all this great stuff comes encased in cool looking, road-tough metal boxes at prices the working player can afford. Three preamp style voicings, Attack control switch, Drive, low, high, and level knobs Again, very good condition with some scuffs on one side. Bought second hand, every now and then the switch doesnt engage, but a 2nd tread always works. Happens about 1 in 20. Looking for £30 Digitech Bass Synth Wah It's time to bring the funk. Whether you're playing ska, reggae, or funk, the Bass Synth Wah™ is simply the most versatile bass envelope filter pedal on the market, with seven different bass envelope filter types to choose from. Don't just show up to the gig, make the crowds gyrate. Very good condition with some light scuffing to one side. £45? Behringer Bass Eq Velcro on bottom, nothing special but does what it sets out to do. £6. Pics of all availiable on request. Postage will be a couple of £ on each. I've bought and sold plenty of bits on here and fleabay. Any questions please ask. Cheers!
10. Argh - if only you'd post! Id def have it!
11. would you ship?
12. Well, i use a small 65w ibanez amp at home for a practice amp, and it was the best sounding small amp under £250 in the shop when i was trying them out...
13. ooooo - they look nice; i was very happy with my current rig until you posted that - thanks!
14. It means common time - ie 4/4 HTH
15. Your getting lots of good advice. Practice and transcribe are the two biggies. Play a wither the root or the third on beats one and three, then a an approach tone on 2 and 4 - chromatic notes to your next note or scale tones work best... oh, and practice again! Or, play the double bass - then no-one will hear the notes your playing so as long as you play in time you'll be fine :-p
16. My main (and favourite by far bass) is a MIM Jazz 5, in black. I changed the bridge for a schaller 3d, pickups for bartolini's and the wiring for posh good pots etc. Just like this - spooky! If this plays half as well as mine £250 is an absolute steel!
17. Skoda Felicia Fun - without doubt the best car ever for moving gear, and really really rare so you'll hardly ever see another one :-) Picture is a bit old now - wheels are re-furbed in anthracite and its got some other little tweeks...
18. Man i'm tempted - and I don't live that far away from you either! Alex.
19. Yeah - got to say I wasn't that impressed... not impressed enough to not put it on to my bass. The 'image' of the logo was almost jagged around the edge - not pixelated, but not nice and smooth like a Fender logo, and it was a sticker not a waterslid transfer.... might try the ebay link - but what I'd really like is one of the spaghetti type logos! Alex.
20. Other than the paint job of course...
21. Still here, had some interest, but nothing firm yet... Would really consider offers for a good chorus pedal, or a overdrive/distortion pedal. Or cash of course ;-P Alex.
22. Hi... I'm not looking for £80, thats how much they are new - it was just a bit of info! Like dannyboy said, I'm looking for trades or offers... Alex
23. One of these: http://paisleypedals.webs.com/paisleyquasar.htm Properly as new - no marks etc... £80 new (see the link above), looking for trades or offers. Alex.
24. Bought a Peavey Grind Bass (5 string thru neck thing) they were great then, but I did phone them up rather than just order online, was a couple of years ago too...
25. Saw these - not my thing, but 4 sets for £20! Have to be worth a try - surely? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4-sets-of-Trace-Elli...%3A1|240%3A1318
