1. £45 shipped?
2. Hi... I've got a Bass Cry Baby thats not getting much use. Its a GCB-100 in excellent condition. Would consider trades for other pedals, and i would be ok to put in some cash for a nice pedal. Really looking for a phaser/phase shifter right now, but a fuzz or chorus or anything interesteing/good quality really! Would also do a straight sale. Cheers. Alex.
3. Right, i want a pedal where i can blend a clean and effected signal. Is there some type of loop pedal that can do this, or a dedicated blend type pedal? Cheers. Alex.
4. any pretty pictures? Alex.
5. Are they straight or right angled ends?
6. Still availiable?
7.
And keepin' it both Fujigen and Antoria, a nice old LP bass (shame about the cack bridge): http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=260198569119J.
What scale length will this be? And what type of price would you aficionado's think is acceptable for it? Alex.
8. If your gonna spend money on software to help you, go for transcribe! its only an extra fiver over the slow downder thing, but adds loads of features (slows down, picks out certain instruments, can loop sections, transposes, can adjust pitch (so you can make dodgy recordings in key), etc....)

Must haves

Thinks its different for everyone really - depends on what you play (music and other gear etc...). I guess a good overdrive/distortion pedal is useful. I like a good octaver and a tuner. Personally i never go anywhere without my headrush either. Dont just get them cos you think you should tho :-) Alex.
10. Im looking for a power supply for my cry baby - its one of the older bass ones (the black one). Ideally, i'd like something that could power that and some othe effects (boss etc...), but can only find things for boss effects so far, and my cry baby has a different input for power? Any ideas?
11.
edit: Ah ok. I read alot of this topic! Producer: "We're doing an album, and we want you to play on half of it." Bass Guitarist: "Great. What's the material?" Producer: "You'll do the rock and fusion stuff." Bass Guitarist: "What about the rest?" Producer: "Straight-ahead jazz. Upright." Bass Guitarist: "I'm good at that. Why not let me do that as well?" Producer: [Silence] how familiar this sounds.
I know
12. Well, the 2nd one definitely looks helpful - i was speaking to someone today who thinks they have it: the more sources the better :-) Cheers again. Alex.
13. Ahh - i think the 2nd one is what i needed! Where do you find all these things - do you just have loads of bass related bookmarks Alex.
14. Quite possibly I've not actually read it, only been told about it - but it looks like it could be what i'm after! If anyone has the hard copy of that article, could you let me know - i'll need info for bibliography and footnotes etc... Thanks!
15. Right, long shot i know, but... I'm trying to get hold of a particular article that was in a Bass magazine. I think, it was in Bass Player magazine, but am not certain - so would really appreciate it if everyone could rack their brains! Its an article by/about Anthony Jackson, where he talks about the bass guitar in jazz + prejudice etc... Its for my dissertation - not just to read Anyone know the one i'm talking about? Cheers! Alex.

17. I had a session amp as my first giggable amp. Mine was 100 watts into a single 15" speaker. Always thought the controls on the top were a nice usable feature. Was a very good and reliable amp for the money - had not issues with it at all.
18. Is there any way of putting 2 basses into 1 amp? A box or something i can use? I've got a new student starting, and just thougt it might be cheaper than getting a 2nd practice amp? It would only be very low volume etc. Alex.
19. Whats the longest delay time on the delay? Alex.
20. I've recently de-fretted a bass that i bought, a MIM Jazz 5. I put it all back together, but cant get the strings as low as i'd like - i have dropped the saddles as low as possible, but it could do with a bit more - what can i do? Alex.
21. One of the tall grabby ones, this one: http://www.herculesstands.com/guitars/GS415B.html Very good condition, and a great stand. Make me an offer, or will consider trades for things of a similar value. Collection only please (birmingham). Alex.
22. have just re-read your post. Will have to contact some boat suppliers then :-) Alex.
23.
If you are after the fashionable gloss mirror finish on your fingerboard, google 'System Three", the product you want is Mirror Coat 2 part epoxy. It is available in the UK from boat building suppliers.
Do you know where i can get hold of that in the UK? I've started the de-fret. Am taking my time, have done 5 frets so far, and its going ok! Alex.
