Hi everyone. I came across this on Sunday evening, made the guy an offer and now it's mine. Suffice to say I got an absolute steal. It was completely filthy, so I spent a goodly amount of time cleaning it up. It's seen some serious playing time, which I quite like, to be honest. I'd probably prefer a bass with a lot of history than a pristine new one. Without futher ado - pics. It's sounding and playing like a dream. Very pleased I have it. Regards Mike

Thanks for the input. I'm aware this is a controversial move for a lot of people, which is why I was trying to avoid a "should I relic my bass" thread. It was just a passing whim, I doubt I'll do it, I just love the look of the aged P. Regards Mike

Hello all, Say I wanted, oh, I don't know, a Sting signature Fender reliced - to whom should I go? I know Bravewood no longer does it. I've seen the tutorials of "do it yourself" which I may do if I can't find anyone. Any thoughts? Mike

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm liking them. The Sting really has no application in my live groups - I just am a huge fan of those basses, perfect for a blues jam I guess! Re. Fatfinger - I think I notice something but not enough to seriously claim it made a huge difference. It seems to stop the classic fender dead spot but that never bothered me anyway. If anyone wants to buy it, PM me! £23.95 - I'll do it for £15 shipped.

I'm just listening to this album, and it's mind-bendingly good. Is LC touring in the UK anytime soon? Can't access his Myspace and his Official Site seems to have no word. What a musician & composer !!
