1. Loving that avatar buddy. Good to see other Mighty Whites fan bassists are out there! Lets hope we do a number on Donny tonight. Sadly, I'm playing so will miss it!

4. Hi mate. Interested in the guitar How about £100 delivered? I'm in Leeds Cheers Andy
5. We thought about getting PLI after a venue insisted but didnt then lost the gig. The second time we were asked, we decided to get it. Only about £120 PA so not loads, has given us access to hotels and more prestigious venues so is money well spent in my view.
6. I play a Ricky 4003 and use Schallers. No problems ever Andy
7. Sorry bro - its a sale I am after but thanks anyway. Good luck. Andy
8. Mine now clean as a proverbial whistle!
9. I can but sometimes struggle depending on the song. Mostly can be overcome with a mixture of either slightly dumbing down the bass line or changing vocals a little but am mostly OK Mind you recently tried The Smiths - This Charming Man. I could happily play the bass line OR sing but sadly not both at once. Damn those talented people for whom it's easy!
10. Hiya - selling my Ampeg B200R combo (in Amps/Cabs for sale section) and have an extra cover custom made by Silverstone in dark blue with white piping. Perfect condition. Costs C£50 looking for £30 Cheers Andy
11. Hi - not using this since moving to the Orange Bass Terror rig so may as well sell on Bought and owned from new in Jan 2009, probably gigged around 30 times. In top condition. Comes with a Silverstone custom cover in grey and cream with understap plus castors. Based in Leeds, come and have a play if you like. Looking for £350. Cheapest I can see on line is £529 (case worth £50) Also have a spare Silverstone cover too in blue with white piping for £30 if anyone's interested. Can show pics if needed but loads of pics on line. It is very loud yet compact and very pretty with a funky retro look Cheers Andy
12. I have had one of these made by Guy for my Rickenbacker 4003 It was custom made and curves so that it screws on via the Pickguard holes. It is an excellent item, he even supplied a couple of longer screws to attach it I couldn't be happier. No more sore fingers for me! Andy
13.
Cheers buddy, might take you up on that. Am I right in think someone had an orange case made for theirs on here?
I've had one made for the SP212. Just keep the OTB head in it's handbag. Very fetching too I might add Silverstone Amp Covers.........don't ask......still in dispute........looks lovely though
14. I bought a double bass guitar bag from Dawsons. Excellent fit and houses a Ricky Bass and a Les Paul bass which is short scale. Not hugely bigger than a 6 string electric. The case is really well padded and has a velcro strap to hold the necks so there is little if any movement. Bargain at about £50 Andy
15. Thats true of the OTB, it is a bit of a one trick pony but I like that. It delivers a consistant sound with little room to change if it's not to your taste but in a way that's what youre paying for I guess? As Lozz says, its whichever you value most and whether the extra features are high priority for you.
16.
I really can't decide I have £450 to spend and I know I could get either for that. The Orange looks cooler but is the RH450 the better amp?
Dunno about the RH450 but the OTB is excellent. The tone is lovely, its bloomin tiny yet powerful, I seldom get above 3 in volume. The line out runs a bit hot though so I have to reduce the DB on the the PA which compensates. Otherwise cant fault it. If you're ever in Leeds pop in and have a play. I realise its a long way mind! Ha Andy
17.
I guess no news about your cover, isn't it? I have my money back thanks to Paypal. Lesson learned and last time I deal with that guy again.
Shaun EMails a week ago, guess what - he cant find the payment. I sent him paypal proof then no replies to my daily emails. I have filed a claim with Paypal I wish his covers were rubbish as he doesnt deserve to keep in business with his appalling trading record. All 3 of the orders I have placd with him have been disasterous but the quality of the covers is great. Here we go again.....
18.
We did 2 heats got paid £50 a time and free drinks all night, we are an originals band and usually happy with free drinks, most of them just want you to bring loads of people they are awful but there are a few that are about talent, very few and far between though.
The latest scam in my neck of the woods is the so called "charity" all dayer - a few bands play for, no one gets paid, a paltry amount goes to charity, the boozer takes a small fortune across the bar.....we get shamelessly asked regularly. We're always too busy or away that night!
19. Charity fundraiser at Harewood House near Leeds in a huge marquee. 350 guests all up for it. Ran late so we played 9 songs in 2 sets. Still was ace if a lot of fannying around. Sat up buzzing after a night quaffing lemonade now. Rock n roll man!
