    Still is. He moved to the States, played with The Rembrandts (Friends theme song) and others, then formed a production team called The Matrix with Scott Spock and Lauren Christy, his then wife. They had astonishing success, producing, writing and co-writing with a who's who of massive stars in the early 2000's.

    Then I think you'd like the Mesa. It has more warmth and 'juice' to it. I found the Eich T1000 I had was tonally versatile and very powerful, but hi-fi and clinical by comparison.

    NOW SOLD For sale is my Lakland 55-94 Deluxe, trans amber with a beautiful flame maple top, and a maple neck with a stunning birdseye maple fingerboard. It's an early one, the serial number (55xx) dating it to 1998. I bought it from its previous owner in the States a number of years ago, and it came with Aguilar pickups and a Mike Pope preamp already installed. I also have the original Bartolini pickups and NTMB-L preamp and pots, which are included in the sale. The bass comes complete with a G&G lined hardcase. For a 22-year old bass, it's in great condition, but in the interests of full disclosure there are a few small dings here and there which I've tried to show in the photographs. It's been well looked after, so it's in very good order for its age. At only 3.9kg, it's light for a five string, and balances on a strap beautifully. It's 35" scale, with 19mm spacing at the bridge, and through body or bridge stringing. The see-thru scratchplate is removable.

    For sale is my Mesa Subway D-800 head, in excellent condition, complete with gigbag. Light, very powerful, with a huge tonal range. Handles right down to a 2-ohm load. I bought a complete new rig recently, so sadly this is surplus to requirements. NOW SOLD

    For sale, my as-new EBS HD360 30th Anniversary head, bought new a few months ago, and only gigged once. It's a fabulous, versatile amp with bucketloads of power, but I decided to buy a new class D rig to appease my ageing back shortly afterwards, so it's now surplus to requirements. Complete in its box with unopened instructions plus the EBS 30th Anniversary hard-backed coffee table book that came with it!     Add about 24% to the purchase and shipping costs for import duty and VAT. Depends how much the seller wants to ship it to the UK, but it'll end up being around 850-900. Remember to also factor in it 'needs a set up' as the seller states.
