No trades please as I am also selling a Warwick Standard In Bubinga. Pics to follow.
My Warwick is now up for sale and I am also dropping the price again on the Musicman to £700 I'm sure you will agree, it's a bargain.
 2. Here is another one of my basses that I am selling. It's a Warwick Corvette Standard in Bubinga. It's been professionally set-up by Chris at Mcyntire Guitars. The Nut has been upgraded from the prevous. If you look at Warwick nuts they are plastic fixed with two screws. The vibration is restricted to mainly passing through the fixings, not the nut. Therefore Chris at Mcyintre Guitars fitted a brass nut which looks and sounds better. I'm asking for £350 whick includeds a tin of Warwick polish/wax and a Gig bag. Collection only as I have had some bad problems in the past. However I'm willing to meet at a convenient place if preferred.

 4. A 20 inch Sony PC Monitor Works fine, just collect from Dagenham. I may meet at a more convenient place.
 5. I am selling a Pearl Maple Free Floating 14 X 8 Snare Drum. It's rare, not seen one this size on the 'Bay for a long time. I used to play drums. I had this one, bought it restored by Drums Inc. Hornchurch. A guy called Gary done the restoration work on it. I think it's from the 80's It's very loud and heavy, get's lots of positive comments. It's for sale on here till I work out the postage costs to put on eBay. Just as we all like it - lots of pics! I'm asking for £249 and I'll throw in a Le Blonde case with it.
 6.
Have I missed something or are there no pictures of the matching orange headstock? Beautiful looking bass though mate, far more interesting than my Black on Black rosewood 'ray. Deserves a worthy home, good luck with it. Edit - forgot to mention I was selling my Stingray for the same reasons; the wide neck. I've withdrawn it now though.
Good point - I will try to post some tomorrow
 7. How does the bass feel when you play it? What about the weight, balancing, neck width ect? If it feels and plays well then stick with it. If not try another bass in a shop to compare, then you'll have a better idea weather to keep it or not. If you buy a P bass I will be extremely jealous! Good luck my friend!

 9.
Nice T-Shirts....... if your GAY!!!!!
Hey be carefull man, there are some very touchy people on here. Just look at the off topic section. You might get a handbag thrown at you Although I must admit, it is a bit gay looking.
 10. P Basses are definatley in demand at the mo. Congrats you lucky sod
 11. I have a Warwick Corvette Bubinga. I had the nut upgraded to brass as with most if not all Warwicks have a bolt/screw in nut so the sound only resonates through the two screws rather than the full nut onto the fretboard. I'm now thinking of upgrading the pick-ups. Is it worth it? To get it done by my Luthier is about £180 but will it make much difference?
 12.
I agree. If you're going to make an album, labour intensively over every bit of it. You may never get another chance. But you must also appreciate that most listeners won't appreciate the fact they you forked out for a £900 cab over a £300 cab. Of course, you can (probably) here it, and that's what is self indulgent. I'm not knocking it, everyone likes to self indulge. As for stopping using pedals, I agree again. If they're pretty extreme, then they become an integral part of the sound. People will notice this. They won't notice who manufacture your strings.
+1
 13.
Hi, new member here, been reading the forum a lot, but this is my 1st post…and I’ve got the bloomin’ cheek to ask for advice as well ( )...!! What it is, I’m actually looking to raise funds for a new 5-String Musicman Bongo…you could probably call this one my 1st ‘serious’ bass if you like!! I’ve got three basses which I’m looking to sell, however I’m not exactly sure as to what to expect price wise for them and was wondering if any of you kind hearted souls out there could possibly advise me…I’ll be selling in GBP (£’s). My 1st bass is a 4-string Japanese Fender Precision Lyte Deluxe as per the attached link. http://www.ciao.co.uk/Fender_P_Bass_Lyte_D...ric_Bass__48774 My 2nd bass is a 4-string Epiphone Standard Les Paul Bass as per the attached link (although it is in Ebony finish). http://www.epinions.com/specs/pr-Epiphone_...ss_Ebony_Chrome My 3rd bass is a 4-string Tanglewood acoustic as per the attached link. http://www.tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/product...mp;sID=26465177 I’m obviously looking for as much as possible, but I’d appreciate realistic prices…thanks in advance for any assistance that is offered…that’s a beer I owe you all!! Mr Bo.
Hi and welcome to the forum. Look on eBay under completed listings. There you'll get an idea on what people are willing to pay. Good luck!

 15.
This is true, once you acquire the gear you tend to move onto something else... i know i do
....and for everything else there's Mastercard
 16.
Doh! I lied... I'm full of sh*t and don't know my ars* from my elbow! Sell, sell, sell... and then buy my Dolphin or Streamer
Nah, Nah, nah..... Sell me your P bass and you will have to play your other bass - then we will both be happy
 17.
Yes, it certainly will. Get yourself a little Roland Cube, you'll definitely be more excited about picking up your bass.
+1 It's not cheap but great fun and will help you learn.
 18.
The ashtrays on my P. Not only are they utterly useless but they actually get in the way because I can´t pluck in the sweet spot directly over the pickup. But they look soo cool...
It's called bass jewellery! ......and yeah it does look cool.
 19. Reading the above posts I don't think there are two prices the same. Looks like the messsage is have a minimum you will play for then times it by three and see how much they knock you down. (5K nice, very nice!)
 20. Yours must be an alarm clock - you posted that at 07.23! :brow: Mine was when I played drums, it was a clip-on glass holder. I never used it.
 21. Hey have you looked close at the pic of the 3 band EQ, look at the reflection - LMAO!
 22. Name, shame and also write to the manager. You don't owe the assistant anything. The guy doesn't seem happy in his job anyway. Yeah, we all have bad days but he could have kept his gob shut too! If he spoke to anyone in the street like that he probablly would get a slap.
 23. I love playing with myself! :brow: But, it's so much better with someone else.
