    Pm'd Just measured my squier and its 64mm at the 20th fret, means yours aint gonna be exactly a snug fit, anyone tell me if this is doable?

    Just measured my Jazz, 4mm at 12th fret, and I still get a bit of buzz, best tweak the neck I think. The EB3 has just under 3mm and sounds awsome!

    Made my evening, Gail Anne playing guitar threw me, until I figured the guy was slapping! Loved the 'live' take of Jean Genie where TB came in too early on the chorus...or rather, Bowie came in late lol!

    Mate of mine has this huge flight case thingy going spare, he said it was 8u x 2 ie front and back, but I don't understand such tech talk, pics say a 1000 words!     Yup if you do it at the start, you just learn the song once Just remember to retune back to standard after lol!

    Couple of Thin Lizzy songs we do I just detune my 'E' string half a step, takes seconds, usually covered by singer waffling between songs, a lot quicker and easier than retuning whole bass, or swapping for a 2nd one.

    Indeed, went back in April, Peter, the guy who put it together is an absolute goldmine of info re the man, and lived next door to him as a child! the stuff he has collected is impressive, but to me it was talking to Peter that was the buzz, tales and memories,he sure has the Blarney!!
