1. Difficult, when I've spent the last 4 days holed up on the sofa with only Bargain Hunt and Top Gear repeats to keep me company
2. How did it go? Any pics etc?
3. This on the Warwick forum http://www.warwick.de/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8772 Giles had said he'd pick the bass up as he thought Jake was based in Birmingham. It turns out the bass is in Brighton. Can anyone help with this please. Cheers Neil
4. Here's me And one of the full band
5. Can't believe this, completely floored by a nasty flu bug this week, so looks like I'm going to miss the NEBB which was set up for me. Doh!!!!!!!!!! Sorry guys - unless I make a miraculous recovery I won't be there. Thanks for setting this up for me WH I've organised many forum things and know how annoying it is when people drop out of this kind of thing, so really annoyed that I'm the one dropping out. Sorry.
6.
You could always come up to edinburgh to hear mine at full blast ;-) alternatively, isn't there a guitar guitar in the newgate centre in newcastle? The one up here is an Eden stockist.
There is and I know the manager. However he has nothing in stock and I'm loathed to ask him to ship one down from Glasgow as I will likely buy in the States when I'm over for Christmas, and probably second hand. I rarely ever buy new gear. I'm up in Edinburgh quite often so I'll have to try one there. I'm not one for making an amp decision in a shop though.
7. Jacko, as an Eden owner I demand that you make an appearance. This whole thing was so I could try an Eden, and pretty much the only amp we haven't got is an Eden Doh!"!!!!!!!!!
8. I bought a second hand Series 6 AH300 around 1993. It was built in 1989. I've used it for many gigs, it's been stored in a damp garage for 4 years unused, been in the back of many a van and generally abused. And it still works perfectly and sounds great. Mine has the heavy duty foam-like casing (made out of the same material as the bumpers of a Porsche 928) and lovely 80s UV light
9. Warwick Thumb NT5 and Infinity NT5 89 Trace Elliot AH300 Trace Elliot 1048H
10. In my experience of organising forum stuff, it's easier just to give people a time, you'll never please everyone!
11. Either for me. There's going to be at least 3 of us, so at worst it's only going to be £6 each, not worth worrying about really. Would be interested to try a GK. I saw Extreme last night and Pat Badger's bass sound was superb. 3 x GK 8x10s Couldn't see his rack, so not sure what amps he was using.
12. That's a shame, thanks for trying though We still haven't found an Eden in the North East though. Bugger!!!!
13. Alreet then Mr pedant
14. Do you want me to change the thread title to NEBB (please being an Eden along)
15. Another vote for Pitchblack here. Very good piece of kit for the money.
16. I'm in!!! Don't know if I can be bothered to bring my rig. Might bring my head - 1989 Trace Elliot AH300. Looking forward to comparing it to the Thunderfunk.
17. Too far for me then, good luck with the sale
18. Where is it though!!!!!!!
19. Offer to take it home, clean it up, and see if anyone asks for it back
20.
I would prefer the buyer to collect.
Where from?
21. For a home practice amp, the Eden N8 is superb value for money at £70. Not big enough for a gig, but a great little amp nonetheless
22. I'll add one to the list
23. Might be interested in the WT500, can you send me some details please
24. My list of amps I want to try before making a decision Eden WT Thunderfunk (please Warwickhunt!) Line6 HD400 - out of curiosity when it comes out Aguilar 500 Ampeg SVT Genz-Benz Shuttle 6 EBS Mesa Boogie pulse Pro-tube is too big for me I think. That should keep me busy
