1. Recently bought both of these from here, but found I don't need the TE pedal and I prefer the Korg DT-10 tuner pedal which I tried the other day. Will sell for what I paid Trace Elliot pre-shape/graphic swicth with jack connection for an early Trace Elliot head - I've been using with Series 6 AH300 - £20 + p&p. 2. My 91 thumb bass is not a JD
3. Told my buyer he can buy it if if he wants but as far as I'm concerned it's back up for sale Looking for £950 or 1200EU (depnding on exchange rate)
4. I'm sure the guy will be straight on that one John. I hate selling on ebay, it always seem to degenerate into more hassle than it's worth. I'm happier now I've bought it's replacement actually. It's on a 0% card so I can sell the SS1 at my leisure.
5. Getting sick of being messed around with my buyer - still waiting for his cash and he's trying to knock me down on price even though I've given him 10 days to get his money together. If someone beats him to get me the cash they can have it. £940 + postage + any payment fees if you want to use paypal. Happy for you to collect and/or use bank transfer. Or around €1200 depending on exchange rate on the day
6. Stop putting for sale ads up, I feel like it's my duty to comment on these basses As per usual, this is as described and worth every penny. I would have bought this already if it was a five string.
7.
How cheap!!!
I Agree
8. I'm in the nightmare scenario - found the next bass, not sold mine yet - Doh This has to be one of the best condition SS1s out there - even the back of it is mint with no belt marks.
9. Hi-res pictures available here http://www.bassoctopus.com/upload/ss1/ss1.zip (30MB)
10. TTT A couple of interested parties but no cash/deposit as yet
11. A friend did them for me with DSLR and lights. I have some of my thumb too... THUMB BASS IS NOT FOR SALE!
12. Ad updated. Quite fancy that Dolphin so this bass is for sale as well as trade now.
13. Much as I love my SS1, I prefer the narrow string spacing of my thumb bass. I also find the sound of the SS1 to be so different from the thumb that I would find it hard to swap basses in the middle of a gig, without completely changing my sound. This SS1 is immaculate -99 model. Set-up by Dave Wilson last year. Imported by me from the US in Oct 2006. Never gigged by me or the previous owner. It has an 18v Preamp and Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups which were standard on the US Warwick SS1. If you've never heard the slap tone on an SS1 you will be blown away when you hear this. The bottom E has an unbelievable tone to it. The bass comes with a Warwick hard case. Looking for £1000 Edit: Will take £950 + postage + any banking charges/currency change charges. Or around €1200 depending on exchange rate on the day High-res pics available here http://www.bassoctopus.com/upload/ss1/ss1.zip (30MB)
14. And Mick's going to swap it for a cd - what a deal. That is what we agreed isn't it?
15. All the gear? They'll be no power left after the Aga is fired up!
16. Great idea, shall we warn Dave, or just turn up?
17.
Hello mate how are you? Give me a shout any time, be good to see you. Paul keeps threatening to send me a copy of your album.
