1. In my experience of organising forum stuff, it's easier just to give people a time, you'll never please everyone!
2. Either for me. There's going to be at least 3 of us, so at worst it's only going to be £6 each, not worth worrying about really. Would be interested to try a GK. I saw Extreme last night and Pat Badger's bass sound was superb. 3 x GK 8x10s Couldn't see his rack, so not sure what amps he was using.
3. That's a shame, thanks for trying though We still haven't found an Eden in the North East though. Bugger!!!!
4. Alreet then Mr pedant
5. Do you want me to change the thread title to NEBB (please being an Eden along)
6. Another vote for Pitchblack here. Very good piece of kit for the money.
7. I'm in!!! Don't know if I can be bothered to bring my rig. Might bring my head - 1989 Trace Elliot AH300. Looking forward to comparing it to the Thunderfunk.
8. Too far for me then, good luck with the sale
9. Where is it though!!!!!!!
10. Offer to take it home, clean it up, and see if anyone asks for it back
11.
I would prefer the buyer to collect.
Where from?
12. For a home practice amp, the Eden N8 is superb value for money at £70. Not big enough for a gig, but a great little amp nonetheless
13. I'll add one to the list
14. Might be interested in the WT500, can you send me some details please
15. My list of amps I want to try before making a decision Eden WT Thunderfunk (please Warwickhunt!) Line6 HD400 - out of curiosity when it comes out Aguilar 500 Ampeg SVT Genz-Benz Shuttle 6 EBS Mesa Boogie pulse Pro-tube is too big for me I think. That should keep me busy
16. As per my other thread, I'm thinking seriously about getting an Eden WT400 or similar. Trouble is, my experience of the Eden sound is restricted to POD and my Eden N8 practice amp, as we don't have a dealer who stocks Eden in Newcastle. Ideally I'd like to try it at one of my band practices (I would leave cash to the value of the amp), but if that's not possible just a home demonstration would be fantastic. Anyone?
17. Just to confuse things further. A Warwick Pro-Tube IX has come up for sale near me from someone I know. I should be able to test this at a practice weekend this weekend. I know it goes against the lightweight priniciples (massively), but it could be a lot of tone for not a lot of cash. Has anyone any experience of the Pro-Tube?
18. Has the G-B got a switchable PSU like the Eden? Good point on the Mesa - light weight isn't everything, unless it's an amp I'm going to bring back from the States.
19. Interesting - don't want that kind of problem. Were you pushing it really hard? I've not looked at amps since I got the Trace, so apart from Mesa, what else should I be looking at that won't break my back?
20.
So, fellow POD XT owners, what are your favourite amp/head and cabinet models? Maybe have some 'pearly' combinations? C'mon, share 'em here! My currently favourite is Hiwatt head with 4x10 Hiwatt amp, which I use with my Ibanez GSR for some crunchy, heavy sound... But I can't find anything 'warm'..
I find the Adam and Eve to be the warmest amp on my POD. Crank the bottom end up to 3oclock.
21. Which WT was it and what was it running into, if you don't mind me asking.
22. Good point, I concur
23. Would the Thuderfunk fit in my suitcase?
