1. All sorted thanks now mate, but thanks anyway! Picked one up close to home this afternoon, now just need to find the cab I want!
2. I'll let you know one way or another tomorrow bud, may have one coming my way but not 100% sure yet...
3. Hi guys, I picked this up years ago with the intention of including it in my set-up but its never really had the usage I first thought I'd give it! Half rack-sized compressor, limiter and noise gate, apparently it was launched as part of a home-studio line by Boss in the 80s. Theres a few threads on Home Recording that say its a pretty reasonable unit, although as previously mentioned, I've never used it that much. More info here: http://www.bossarea....other/rcl10.asp and here: http://www.dancetech...did=4175&lang=0 £30ono on its own, plus P&P? I've not got the original power supply, but can throw one in with the unit for an extra £5. Thanks!
4. The breakdown from Otherside by RHCP made me want to play bass instead of anything else, it was the first time I'd heard the bass play something so powerful and driving, made me really understand how it can be more than just a part of the rhythm section...
5. Would you consider splitting the two? I'm looking for a Terror Bass but don't want quite as big a cab as a 4x10
6. So is the Roland Quad Capture going to offer the lower levels of latency that Firewire interfaces give, even though it only runs on USB 2.0? I'm quite new to the home recording side of things and really want to avoid buying something that is going to leave me frustrated when trying to lay down tracks, and as most have said before - Firewire apparently does offer lower latency. Thanks for all the responses so far!
7. Are the SP212 cabs any decent with this, or is it worth looking at getting an OBC410 instead? From what everyone has said, this definitely sounds like the right amp for me, just need to choose a cab!
8. I'm looking at purchasing an Audio Interface for my Mac, so i can start demoing tracks and using it as a writing tools. I'm not looking for anything too fancy, just a simple 2 in 2 out job. The two i've got my eye on are: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (http://www.focusrite...t_2i2/overview/) which uses USB 2.0 TC Electronic Konnekt 6 (http://www.tcelectro...topkonnekt6.asp) which uses Firewire. As the TC is a little more expensive, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on whether or not the Firewire will be of that much benefit that it warrants the extra money? Has anybody used these specific interfaces? Thanks, Martyn
9. Thomann has it around £35, although that's without postage
10. I pm'd you about a week ago now, any chance it's still available?
11. Hi, I've recently been looking at getting a simple audio interface for my Mac, for recording basic demos with guitar/bass/drum loops, and having had a read, I seem to remember a few people suggesting the Apogee Jam interface. Has anyone had any first hand experience with this or made any recordings to display the quality of Apogee's products? Thanks
12. I've had mine 9-10 years now and absolutely love it, I did the same and switched my pick guard so mine is now Black/Red Tortoise Shell. Sounds and plays brilliantly, I just wish it had a 24 fret neck rather than the 21...
13. Cool man, just hit me with a PM when you know
14. Final bump for this before I try eBay...
15. Where abouts are you based?
16. Ok so as i'm not currently working with anyone and use my smaller amp to practice it's time to shift this amp on! This i the older style, 307w version with the carpet covering. Great condition, only been gigged 2 times as i've always used other bassists back line for support shows. No damage or wear to the carpeting. For those who haven't came across these before, here's the Ashdown site's page on the newer version: http://www.ashdownmu...ction=mag&ID=78, I think the only difference between the older and newer versions is the compressor in the newer ones. Still has the same great Ashdown sound/build quality and has served me well over the last few years. Looking for £175 for as I think thats roughly the going rate for these, theres one on eBay that finished for £200 earlier this week. Collection from Manchester is preferred, although if you want to arrange for a courier I'm sure I could package and send it as long as the cost is covered. Cheers!

18. PM me if sale doesn't go through please!
19. I checked the Boss thing and unfortunately it doesn't check out, at least not on the TU-2 or ODB-3. Is there anything you would recommend to remove the rubber bottoms from pedals?
