3. I have a Toyota Avensis estate. Legendary reliability, back seats fold completely flat, and you'll need to send out a search party for your gear once it goes in there
4. If you want to hear it in a loud band, check out our YouTube channel http://www.youtube.c...l?feature=watch
5. My Autumnglo 4001 was a lot darker (and is the only bass I've ever regretted selling - sob!!!) The 4003FL was a bit underwhelming to be honest - didn't miss that one when it went to a new home

9. Traded an amp with one of Rich's. Couldn't have asked for a quicker or easier transaction. He must have shares in a bubblewrap company!! Top man to deal with
10. No more to see here
11. Just bought a Barefaced Big One off Patch. Fantastic cab in mint condition, and a jolly decent chap as well Buy with confidence
12. We've been using a pair of Equinox Micro Bar 4 x LED units for the last year. Come with the stands and the case. Sturdy but not massively heavy, more than enough illumination for our 5 piece pub band. Easy to cycle through the pre-sets or the solid colours with the footswitch . The sound-2-light function is great for that opening 'blast of light' on the first 4-5 bars of the first number, then I kick in one of the pre-sets. http://www.djkit.com/equinox/equinox-micro-bar-system.html?cat=310
13. I've got one just like that Would you like to buy it?

22. Just received a pair of speakon-speakon leads off Alex. Mintier than a Fox's Glacier, well wrapped and super fast delivery Top man to deal with
23.
Hi Dave - hope you're still giving that Jazz some stick!
Hi Iain - Yup - still loving it, despite our drummer complaining that it was 'just farting away in his ear' at the last rehearsal - he has my cab right next to him. Bless Found some places on-line that will do a printed and duplicated CD for about 75p each for an order of 100. Anyone got any recommendations for people they've used?
24. We are a 5 piece covers band who have built up a good reputation with 6-7 pubs in West Cornwall. Our New Year Resolution is to get some better paying gigs and move out of the 'small pub/small fee' places that we've been playing this year. We don't want to get into the wedding/corporate market, as it seems like a potential nightmare (from threads on here), even if it pays well. We have a Facebook page with lots of photos and videos on it, but no website or YouTube pages. We've been told that the bigger places still want to listen to a CD or DVD of a band, rather than hunt them down on the web. Is this still true in 2012/13? Do bigger venues prefer a CD or a live DVD? Do we produce a 'live' CD from one of our gigs, or pay for some studio time and record something professionally? Anyone tried a branded USB stick with mp3 or mp4's on them? Is a website and/or YouTube obligatory, rather than just FB? Cheers
25. We use www.localendar.com - free, easy to use and you can 'publish' it as a read-only version that anyone can see i.e. potential venues can see if you're available, should they have a cancellation etc
