1.
Gary, so sorry to hear that. Surely a pleasant day out amongst like minded folks (albeit sans heavy gear) would be a perfect spirit raiser, release endorphins and promote more rapid healing...? Worth a try with Mrs Mac...
I like your thinking, now if I could just get her to drive me around the M25, all would be good
 2. I can only comment on the Fender Rumble. I've had my one eight years now and it has been used most days. No problems, crackly pots or anything to complain about. Can get a decent tone out of it and more than enough volume for home use. Simple but efficient eq section, aux in and head phone socket, make it a good choice.
 3. Think I was tempted by that one myself
 4. I was very much hoping to come along this year but recovery from recent surgery has been a bit slow and my wife is refusing to let me out to play
 5. Glad to hear that you are happy. I'm going to move this thread to the amps/cabs forum.
 6.
Gaffa or packing tape dabbed all over works well
7. A little price drop bump
 8. A couple of months back I was playing a wedding gig in a cow shed. The sound I was hearing from my very good rig was just awful, I hated it and I know from past experience, that it can be a confidence zapping experience. Thing is though, I know the sound out front was good, no one else was worried and the dance floor was full.
 9.
I'm still looking forward to doing a gig where I couldn't tell you the names and home address of all those in the audience. Guess what I ticked.
Brilliant Rich, you gave me my first proper laugh of the day, thanks
 10. Festival gig to around 1,500 or so
 11.
Aye it was a bit of an article, wasn't it!
It was but an enjoyable one. Also, love the Peterbuilt, what a looker
 12.
My 65p with my B15n getting all Jameson....
Looks cool. Lovely dark fret board

 18. I'm not sure, not being much of a pedal user but hi, haven't seen you about for a while Hope you are well.
 19.
Something I didn't tell Lee before sending the bass, was there's a small token of personalisation on the headstock. Lee, said in another thread, how the bass he sold was one christened by his daughter as "the Family Stone bass", as their family name is Stone. So I took the liberty of customising another well known logo and adding that to the headstock. Thankfully Lee likes the addition. I was just a little unsure about doing it.
Love it, that looks great Rich.
 20. Well done Hugh and Hugh's luthier friend A happy ending.
