It's impossible to resist sliding into every change at first. It sounds so sexy, but once you get over that particular distraction it's witout doubt a much better format than fretted. Having said that I don't currently own a fretless. I have two fretless necks and countless bodies to match so I guess in theory I own several. Lol......trotting off to the workshop.

Saturday 21st is very early. I have a lovely song in my head that might be done next Monday or Tuesday. I haven't a hope of getting it down this week. Mid term and work have me fully loaded. I wouldn't expect anyone to wait for me but would an entry that late be accepted?

When I look back sometimes I'm utterly ashamed. That aside it was a great show and what a back catalogue. Glenn Frey came across quite bad I thought.

Voted. Xliddx got my vote. I though the change of mood was a little strange in the song but all in all I liked the feel of the tune. Followed closely by skol. Well done to all though. There wasn't a bad piece among em.

I really liked it. The bass for me did not stand out in any negative way. In fact I would say it contrasted and complimented the song perfectly. The mix is a bit demoish but I can never tell if that's soundcloud compressing the crap out of it or what. Sounds good to me.

However, Douglas is nothing if not fair so I would have to say a direct and genuine appraisal there old boy. I have a terrible ear for this sort of thing so I won't comment.
