1. I'm usually too lazy for full threads. But there will no doubt be before and after shots.
2. I've grabbed the beaten-up Ibby. I reckon I have enough parts lying around to sort it out. Wish me luck!
3. Whenever I get bored of bass I work on my vocals. And vice versa.
4. They're definitely reversible - I think Alien has first dibs, but owen, you're in if he doesn't reply.
5. Bump for Ultralites and Large-Diaphragm Condenser
6. At the nights I run, we have hard and fast rules about this. Want to to use your bass amp but not let anyone else use it? You can get a gig somewhere else, because we don't want you. If bands can't be nice to each other and share, then they haven't got the right mindset for a DIY night. And we're not greedy promoters - we never take a penny out of our nights. Here are the Rules of Duel: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseact...logId=516965889 On the other hand, we only put on bands who know what they're doing with gear!

8. And this is my girlfriend's two double bass band: http://www.myspace.com/strawberryandcreammusic
9. I used to have a two-bass band, Songs From The Shows. http://www.myspace.com/songsfromtheshows I still work with other bassplayers pretty often, as well as people who switch between guitar and bass (sometime we're two bass, sometimes one of each, sometimes two guitar).
10.
how much for the de-tuner?
£30 posted. I thought I had put that!
11. Chrome. But I also have some black ones for a little more money (say £15 delivered).
12. Would anyone like my Barge pedal? I used to use it to mix low-end into my distorted signal, and occasionally did very strange things with the feedback loop. These days I don't seem to use it much. It's the same as this: http://www.bargeconcepts.com/vfb1.html SOLD
13. More pics added. Most of this goes on eBay tomorrow, so get those offers in!
14. Two guitars I've ended up with in my quest to try out every kind of 6-strong going, in order to work out what suits me. Squier Affinity Strat in sunburst £60 collected, £75 posted. Looks really good, sounds surprisingly adequate, and is complete. Jackson JS20 (I think) £60 collected, £75 posted. This one is missing its trem arm, and has had the odd knock, but it still plays well and looks the business. Perfect for the aspiring metaller in your life (before they spend £500 then realise that they wanted a telecaster after all...). I'm in London, and happy to meet for handover.
15. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Custom-Fender-Jazz-B...7#ht_500wt_1054 Is this a Status neck in all but name? Could be a bargain for someone (if you like heavily-routed jazz bodies).
