    I'm down to 7 basses. After the festivities I'm getting rid of 5, leaving me with a P bass and an upright. It's all I need and use. Sick of looking at the others as they just remind me of my past impulsiveness and make me feel bad about myself.

    Those pickups are very highly regarded mate. The best that have been made for a Thunderbird for a good generation or so. Modelled after the originals from the 60s... They are the legit T-bird sound!

    Agree with what's been suggested already. The Cure have a sound but there are so many different sides to them that there is always a Cure album for however you're feeling. Love them.
