  1. When SZ left Jamiroquai, so did the magic imho. I gave them a couple of albums but lost interest eventually.

  5. They're a little bit like Chromes but thumpier. I don't know how else to describe them sorry! I'm not really a fan of Chromes but I love the Group IIs. Great balance of tone and output. All our hands and ears are different though eh? Worth a shot 👌
  6. The Ernie Ball Group II flats don't sound like rounds. Maybe you're thinking of the EB Cobalt flats?
  7. Really cool he liked your playing enough to buy an amp by how good you sounded. If it had been me he probably would have said, "Oh for f***s sake give it 'ere..." 😆
  8. Brilliant!! He hasn't aged much either..

  12. Simone Butler of Primal Scream deserves a shout out.
  13. I love Mani. Even his writing there sounds heartfelt and natural. Plus he meant it more than the others because he pressed harder 😄 I met Liam in a pub in London that I used to work in. He was great sorry to disappoint. Quite full on but gentle hearted (he was at ease) and really really funny. No airs or graces. He wasn't afraid to buy a round either. Never met Noel, but the guy turns me off from what I've seen on the web. The charisma thing comes naturally to Liam. I expect that was part of the problem. Roses for the win though!

  19. Another and cheaper option would be to install a series/parallel switch on your jazz. Incase you don't know, a Jazz bass' pickups are wired in parallel (so they work as 2 separate pickups) and a Precision's are in series (the two halves of a Precision pickup are actually two single coils wired together to act as one whole pickup. This gives a P bass it's extra oomph). By having a Jazz bass' pickups wired in series, the bridge and neck pickups will then work together like a Precision's does and give you that extra oomph. Usually achieved by having a pull/push pot on the Jazz neck pickup volume knob. It would still be your regular Jazz, just click up the vol pot for P-bass like fatness. @Ki0gan is a basschat member that can supply such a thing very reasonably using top quality components that are easy for anyone to install.
