Hi guys, I posted this on the 'Killing Me' thread...should have started a new one for it. I listen to/watch Lex Fridman's podcast quite regularly, mainly for all the science based guests he has on. I was really surprised to find that Tal had recently been on! I don't think he's had any musicians on before (that I can recall). This is a really good and insightful conversation. Plenty to glean from it. Just thought I'd post it for those who might be interested.

I remember speaking to John Shuker about doing the same to my old Jazz bass. He quoted about 200 quid at the time but it was a few years ago, so I expect it will cost a fair bit more now. Maybe worth asking him? At least you know that it will be done fabulously.

Getting someone to defret the one you have is the cheapest option. I'm sure you will have already considered this though...
