11.
Strippers. I remember back in the 80's, when I was first working, as an admin' assistant , my colleagues and I used to frequent a certain hostilary in Birkenhead, where the strippers used to knock out audience members if there was any touchage of the sweater meat. Happy days.
oooerrr I remember those days, but perhaps we are straying off the subject a tad and becoming sader than sad!
 12. This wasn't built for me, it was part of a triplet of basses made from the same piece of american walnut facings, my particular bass was made for a trade show, and I happened upon it by a freak phone call to Bernie, (as id been wanting one for years) saying " I want a Spitfire, what have u got?" reply was " well I just build to order but' and the rest is history, it was just what I was after a beautifull 4 stringer with a maple neck, all the electronics etc and a joy to play. Pics as requested, spot the tronics under the see thru cover, nice touch!
 13. Thought I'd see what my newish '75 USA RI Jazz looked like with a tort guard on, me thinks I like. This is her before. What ya think?
 14.
Hi there... aye, she is still looking good. Hope you are looking after the second nicest Spitfire ever made (OK, maybe I am being biased - mines not a proper one anyway, what with it having 5 strings!!). You getting plenty of turned heads from being out and about with then? You should see this Rumour I have got in the pipeline...
Tell us more lets have some specs and a GB entry in the build section.
 15.
That is a lovurly one, looks like you could almost put your fingers through the gloss into the wood below,!!!!!!! more pics please, and some of the pointy end too,!!! For me personally, what realy does it, is the fact shes a four string custom, I just dont get the five string, plus trip, to me thats then not a bass. oh now ive done it....... But thats just me, very very nice, enjoy.
My pleasure, tho I think they're in the porn section aswell.
 16. As a lover of nice wood that is mighty pretty just 50% too manty strings for me! good luck with the sale.
 17.
My church rig as of today. From top down: Hartke 3500, GK 2001RB, UL310, and slighty dodgy Hartke 15". Jamming with the band on this lot is the most bass-related fun I've ever had...it'll be even more so when I can add the Aguilar GS212 I just bought to it... Who says you don't need huge rigs? I have to play to a 500-seat church with the muddiest acoustics ever and a 50ft cieling, with the world's crappest PA subs - so crap they don't even carry the band's bass because it just comes as pure merino wool, also contains lanolin. So I think I have an excuse for a 1320W, two-power-amp stack. At least, that's what I'm telling myself... Now I need some nice lights to go in a 6U rack case with the GK, I was thinking a graphic eq and a compressor. Any suggestions (need lots of lights on them). Jon
That was my Epi cab! best cab ive ever had but my shoulder didnt agree, glad its keeping the faith if u know what I mean! (probably an in joke)
 18. Tort guard on the way, wonder what that will look like?

 21.
Neutrik plugs (silent switched at bass end) Van Damme, or Klotz cable. You do not need a £40 Whirlwind lead (My guitarist and I have tried his Whirlwind and my Neutrik/Klotz/Neutrik lead B2B and there is NO difference). FWIW I have just bought some components to make up some leads from Dave (OBBM). TBH his cost passed on for making them is minimal and the components DO actually make up the cost of the leads. (I know I tried getting them all from elsewhere!) I'm not blowing sunshine out of Daves backside, but the products he produces for the cost he's making them available at, are unbeatable!!! Dont bother looking elsewhere if you cant make them yourself.
silent switched? tell me more
 22.
Lol, but its good practice
OK challenge, spec me a cable and ur price, no crap mind, 1 angled 1 straight, 5 mtr.
