1. Thanks to MartinLee my new USA '75 RI Jazz. I always found the maple necked ones with those black blocks and black binding a bit brash and "In Ya Face" I think the rosewood neck, MOP blocks and traditional white binding much more pleasing on the eye. Much rarer than the maple necked versions, and I think just a bit more subtle. IMHO.
2. I think I've come home and found my ultimate huge sounding but portable rig for me and my bad shoulder. I do like the sound of a 15" and two is just nirvana!
3. At last I think I've come home and GAS is no more, my ultra portable huge sounding rig. Bonus is just take 1 cab to practices and double em up for gigs! I've come to the conclusion that 15's are my sort of sound and to have the two is bliss.
4. Just like the proverbial bus, u dont see em for a while then two come at once! Lovely bass btw.
5. youll love the dple, if aint got the sweetest slim neck youll ever hold apart from the mrs that is ill eat my hat, tell me if im wrong when u get her!

8. Great to see "God Is upto something" in Norway........some exotic basses there, I just keep it simple with just the four strings! I think if you use more, God might think you're showing off! (Joke, English humour!)
9. bugger i loved mine! why cant i have more money?
10.
I think they left the 1 off the front of the price!
you may be right I think id better go and snap it up! What is the real price then?
11. I saw one of these in a shop today Marked up at £649, I guess I could haggle aswell it sounded really sweet. I have no idea if that is a good/bad price, please enlighten me, it was new with Status case, tags etc. Fretless unlined with side markers, twas a beauty. Guess this is nearly in the right forum as it was a "Bass For Sale"
12. hell thats a great avatar, we need a new forum for just simple bass photos no glossy explanations just pics.
13. Who the hell is Mrs T, I guess I'm gonna know when u tell me!
14.
Thanks for that! So how heavy is one of these then? I like the idea of a super slim neck. One of my favourite necks is on My Kubicki which is particularly anorexic.
Not sure about the weight but the neck is to die for, so slim and fast. When I bought my GB from Bernie I took mine down there and he couldnt believe how slim it was, infact he said he would never even try to build one the same.
15.
That is a really sexy looking bass. What's the history of the DudePit Ltd bit?
ooo shall I? Well the Dudepit is a Lakland based forum in the USA. Steve Barr the owner also owned a retail bass outlet and commisioned the first Lakland DPLE1 (dudepit Limited edition) having to order a batch of 24 to get the special spec that these basses have, there has since been a DPLE2 a white Pbass thpe with a darkstar and a DPLE3 a decade based bass. These are very collectable and superb basses.
16. I've yet to have a bad experience on this forum, not that I'm willing it on or any thing, but just everyone I've have had contact with or dealings with are just good peeps. Plus one for Basschat.
17. Now Sold guys thanks for the incredible amount of interest. Andy.
18. Plus one for all the above, I actually tried one today infact Mike finished it off so I could try a 1x15" with my MB head, they are scarily light but packed a mean punch and all the goodies, crossovers, tweeters etc wer top notch kit, certainly worth a look.
19.
I will do - I have only just placed the order (last week) and understand that it could take up to 5 months to build. Must be patient, must be patient, must be patient - how long now?
At least tell us the spec, woods, colour etc.
20.
I sympathise completely but I would have stuck with the Epifani - everything from there is downhill IME/HO. Good luck Andy
my crapped shoulder just couldnt handle it, ive had a frozen shoulder for nearly 2 years and the pain is no fun at all, that is what drives my search......
21.
Yeah, it's from the same piece of wood as mine - which is the one which is in bass guitar magazine. It's funny that you should mention that your ear doesn't like those cabs. I used to run EBS Neo cabs - and I must admit, I far prefer the sound of the prolines. The prolines have a certain warmer tone about them than the Neos. To me, the Neos sound very, very clinical. Not saying that one is better than the other... but they are very different. It may be the case however, that Markbass heads and EBS cabs are just not a good match in this case.
yep that is my thinking, infact im gonna A/B em at the bass merchant tomorrow, and see what i come up with.
22. Im partial to all things yellow and black.
23. Well its just a case of two busses coming along at the same time, and you can only get on one!
24. Thats a mighty special example of what is a great bass.
