Neutrik plugs (silent switched at bass end) Van Damme, or Klotz cable.
You do not need a £40 Whirlwind lead (My guitarist and I have tried his Whirlwind and my Neutrik/Klotz/Neutrik lead B2B and there is NO difference).
FWIW I have just bought some components to make up some leads from Dave (OBBM). TBH his cost passed on for making them is minimal and the components DO actually make up the cost of the leads.
(I know I tried getting them all from elsewhere!)
I'm not blowing sunshine out of Daves backside, but the products he produces for the cost he's making them available at, are unbeatable!!!
Dont bother looking elsewhere if you cant make them yourself.
silent switched? tell me more
Lol, but its good practice
OK challenge, spec me a cable and ur price, no crap mind, 1 angled 1 straight, 5 mtr.
Make your own
Why pay someone else to make a simple thing like a cable??
I've made over 200 cables for my pa, bass guitars.
Made 2 24 channel multicores! now thats a boring job! lol
But ye, buy a roll of SOMMER TRICONE INSTRUMENT CABLE, get some neutrik jack ends and make them yourself
Jake you aint seen me with a soldering iron! Im talking A&E
I was practicing away tonight at neighbour friendly volume and happened to be tapping my foot on my bass lead and it was giving this definite crunching sound in my amp, its a planet waves lead. Whats the best money can buy?
I would like to know were my 5 string custom GB Spitfire ended up,made for me in 1997 by Bernie Goodfellow, with custom blue diamond fret markers, and "Rico" written on the twelth fret marker. The pups have goodfellow written on them
I swapped it for a Sei Flamboyant 5 string headed in 1999.
cant blame you for wanting that baby back! Good luck in your search.
This beat up Stingray which i only had a matter of weeks was just superb, but things conspired to me selling it, I then had a chance to get it back last year but again financial restraints reared their heads, I'd dearly love her back.
u know my pm!
Thanks guys, these are the new shape 151p's that stack nicely with the 102p etc, but being as im a 15" lover I had to get two. Plus one for and big it up for Darren at The Bassmerchant, great deal.
Can anyone link me to a downloadable copy of Your the first my last my everything please, not necessarily a free download, but just that track, thanks, unless you have it already tabbed of course. Ta
I was thinking the other day as i was wacking out some tones, that the poor old amp stuck straight on the top of the cabs is getting all that vibration, u know how much i mean when u sit on the cab and play, and whether its doing any harm to the internal gubbinses and what can we do about it.
BTW how do you have it set up live? A 15 each side of the drums sounds good to me?
oooerr never thought of that sounds good idea.
This is definitely the Playboy of Bass Porn. Very nice! Although I disagree on your misguided views on black block maple necks!
I may be misguided in a lot of respects, just ask my wife, but with regard to the two versions of the 75 reissue this just looks a bit crass in comparison....
Thanks to MartinLee my new USA '75 RI Jazz. I always found the maple necked ones with those black blocks and black binding a bit brash and "In Ya Face" I think the rosewood neck, MOP blocks and traditional white binding much more pleasing on the eye.
Much rarer than the maple necked versions, and I think just a bit more subtle. IMHO.
I think I've come home and found my ultimate huge sounding but portable rig for me and my bad shoulder. I do like the sound of a 15" and two is just nirvana!
At last I think I've come home and GAS is no more, my ultra portable huge sounding rig. Bonus is just take 1 cab to practices and double em up for gigs! I've come to the conclusion that 15's are my sort of sound and to have the two is bliss.
i saw that and am now a tad confused as to whats going on?
