5. Just bought and went to collect Duncan's Classic Vibe P Bass from him. Makes a mean cup of coffee on a cold snowy winters morning. The bass is perfect and exactly as described, he also let me have a try of one of the nicest Jazz basses I ever have played, and as a result, I now have more gas A great guy to deal with and very knowledgable. Many thanks Duncan Steve

 8.
I really do find it difficult to make it work, I should get someone to teach me.
There are some good videos and tips on YouTube about it try and get some decent solder. A lot of the stuff I have bought over the past few years is not much cop. Am no expert about the subject tho. Reason for edit - I can't spell.
 9.
As someone who has his soldering iron out every other day I sometimes forget how hard people find wiring up 2 pots and a jack.
Nah, it's quite boring tho!!
 10.
Personally I think the wiring block with screw terminals is a great idea. It will easily allow for various pickup configs to be tried out.
Exactly why I bagged it. Got a few pup's I want to try out and don't want to fart about with my soldering iron every half hour.
 11.
Don't worry about it, let your ears decide. There are strong trends in buying and selling on here. When I first came onto the old site, Laklands were what EVERYONE wanted, and they were talked about in such reverential tones that, having been a Fenderhead all of my life, I thought I must be missing something major. I was about to buy a Duck Dunn when, all of a sudden all the guys who had raved about Laklands started selling them, which gave me pause for thought and I realised the Lakland thing was a phase, no more. There's a strong herd mentality on here, so it only takes a few people to sell and others start thinking "sh*t, perhaps it isn't as good as I thought if all these other guys are selling there's, I'd better sell it" followed by "Oh crap, there's so many on sale the prices are dropping, I'd better sell mine really quick before they drop even further". From what I've heard the TCs are outstanding so I'd not worry about the relatively high amount for sale C
Yep, very wise words. Yogi Chris knows.
