Really good review that. I'm tempted to take a look at one of those. I loved the way the camera was vibrating on certain notes. Must be pumping out some nice deep bass

Im not sure Mark deals with GK any more, the GK section was removed from the site a month or so ago. Worth giving him a ring though.

I'm thinking 2 MM pups. I can get a very good Precision sound on the Ray at the mo.

If it is a Shuker I can get the pups in exactly the right position and the neck profile I like.

I love my P Bass it feels just right for me. I like the look, I like how it sounds. Just recently I have been using my Ray HH, I bought it in a mad state of GAS and never really got on with it, but, it does sound great in the mix due to it having a few more tonal options. I was all set to order a Shuker JJ, but am wondering if I went for a HH configuration instead of the split coil, I would have a bass I am comfy with and like the look and feel of, but all the tones my Stingray gets. Is it really that simple? Anyone tried this?

Oh dear

I tried them and half way through rehearsal took them off and put the old strings back on. Agree with BassBus's post about them being sticky and felt I had no guts to my sound. That had been on the bass for a good few weeks using it at home and they were only just starting to wear in but with the band they did not work for me at all. I've never felt the need to do that with any other strings.

So I am setting up a facebook page for my new band. I have noticed recently that a couple of local bands have set their band pages up like you would if you were joining facebook for yourself. My previous bands page was a standard group page. The only difference I can see is that you need a separate email address if you are going to set up a band page using the personal page route. Anyone got any views on this, or does it not really matter?
