    I thought I'd seen the carpet before The only thing I would be cautious of from the pictures I saw about a month ago was the neck, Rics necks are very easy to bugger up in some peoples hands. It looks real to me but even if its a copy £300 is not a bad price

    Great bass's these and like you said easy on a par with any US Precision out there, should be 3-4 times the price IMO

    Once doing the sound for my band and I'm wireless at sound check trying to get the levels out front when a guy near the bar said 'Cool how do you get all that electric into your bass without a cable I thought mains voltage couldn't travel through air ' I looked at him nodded and walked back to the stage hoping he would never buy a guitar/bass...

    I love em,Sound very piano like and last much longer than a uncoated string and are quite cheap £20 from Thomann .

    Sound Control were knocking these out for £170 just before they closed so I'd imagine there will be a lot around.

    I love Musicmen basses but I also love the Ric Shape and TBH I've had 3 Rics at different times and always sold them to return to MM basses might just be the active v passive thing but I struggle with Rics on stage saying that I would love another Jetglow just for the look

    The tone of it is very fat because of the Walnut/DS's but with the Audere you can get any tone but what I really like is the Z switch it just makes so many tones in its own right without even touching the EQ's.

    Darkstars deserve all the hype they get just 'cause they are great pickups,I've just ordered one for my Fecker P copy.

    Sorry about the confusion the Ricks a Lefty but the SG's a Righty (Don't play the Ric just selling it) The scale is 34' and it is a lovely neck Warmoth make the best necks IMO.

Put a Cheeky Gibson logo on it but apart from looks this is nothing like one In great condition had a thumb rest fitted but I don't use them so I left it off,plays and sounds amazing and comes with a brand new HSC.Not looking for any trades at the moment and this bass will be followed by a '81 Aria SB1000 next week

    Got one used I would say a 7.5/10 condition (few very small scuffs and the tone sticker is missing off the top of one pot)with silver Ric case,user manual,Cloth. Price £850 Pickup only- no trades,swaps I'm afraid.These seem to sell for £250 more than a righty for some reason so about £1500 retail if you can get one.Cheers Si
