1. The top machine head has been put on P..er...Drunk.
2. I love Musicmen basses but I also love the Ric Shape and TBH I've had 3 Rics at different times and always sold them to return to MM basses might just be the active v passive thing but I struggle with Rics on stage saying that I would love another Jetglow just for the look
3. Really happy you like it Dave hope it give your ACG a run its money

5. Theres a Columbus Jazz here for £100- http://www.musiccorner.co.uk/2nd-Hand-and-...oduct_info.html
6. The tone of it is very fat because of the Walnut/DS's but with the Audere you can get any tone but what I really like is the Z switch it just makes so many tones in its own right without even touching the EQ's.
7. There a few sound clips of DS's here- http://www.basspickup.com/soundclips1.htm Steve you made a great job of this I think you could make a living at this.
8. Wow that looks great must sound massive with the DS and all that Warmoth wood, Quality.
9. Darkstars deserve all the hype they get just 'cause they are great pickups,I've just ordered one for my Fecker P copy.
10. Sorry about the confusion the Ricks a Lefty but the SG's a Righty (Don't play the Ric just selling it) The scale is 34' and it is a lovely neck Warmoth make the best necks IMO.
11. Warmoth Body & Neck (Body Walnut,Neck Rosewood with Zircote 'board) Electrics are a Audere 3zb. http://www.audereaudio.com/3ZB.htm Pickups are Darkstar http://www.basspickup.com/ Gotoh Bridge,Schaller Tuners. Put a Cheeky Gibson logo on it but apart from looks this is nothing like one In great condition had a thumb rest fitted but I don't use them so I left it off, plays and sounds amazing and comes with a brand new HSC.Not looking for any trades at the moment and this bass will be followed by a '81 Aria SB1000 next week
12. Got one used I would say a 7.5/10 condition (few very small scuffs and the tone sticker is missing off the top of one pot)with silver Ric case, user manual,Cloth. Price £850 Pickup only- no trades, swaps I'm afraid. These seem to sell for £250 more than a righty for some reason so about £1500 retail if you can get one.Cheers Si
13. I'd say try another cab with your combo sounds like your struggling for headroom if there is no speaker out try this- http://www.warwickbass.com/amps/amps05.htm will look and sound quite good
14. Like how the Bin went up from £25 to £50
15. Gulp I need to sell things http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-G-L-USA-ASAT-Bas...1QQcmdZViewItem
16. Bass Guitars seem to go though style changes every few years and at the 'Mo Warwick seem to be at the unpopular stage but I've never played a bad one (I even bought one last month great bass and the build quality was by far better than my Lak Skyline) the Bass Centre has a few on special offer but like most thing try before you buy.
17. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=20240 You won't get a better cab for the money anywhere than this major bargain.
18. Thats a great price for the cab I had one and it was the best cab I've ever had.Wish I had enough money for the head too.
19. Bob sold me some Tuners that are like brand new,Great packing great service and a great guy
20. I had a 4003 with a twisted neck (previous owner thought it was a good idea to tighten one of the rods up full and leave the other ) fixed it quite easy into a great player with the Hipshot Ric bridge and adjustable saddles.
21. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rickenbacker-Bass_W0...bayphotohosting Might have a twisted neck but might be worth a look for someone up North and only £500 Bin.
22. Theres one on Loot for a little bit less : http://www.loot.com/advert/bass-guitar-/19959553
23. Its 10 years since my last Warwick but I've just bought a $$ from the Bass Centre (they even sent me 2 $$ basses by mistake!) and I must say its like coming home, the sound and feel of it is just great there are a lot of great sounds in them two pickups but like anything try before you buy.
