I got a '88 Mesa 400+ for not much it was blowing fuses and was missing the front grab handle (!?!Hard Life?) I serviced it and resoldered all the connections and will never sell it, although it does appear Knacked it sounds great but basses they will always come and go.
4. I don't know him but both basses where for sale last week on Gumtree more expensive so there might be a bit of room for offers
5. http://manchester.gumtree.com/manchester/80/33447880.html He's also got a Aria ZZB with original hardcase http://manchester.gumtree.com/manchester/19/33447519.html Good prices for both.
6. Very nice I've got a soft spot for both these maker really like any Schecter from this period.
7. Reverb had a S/H Lucas in stock - perhaps Lucas x 2 would be a good answer. http://www.reverb-store.co.uk/clearance.asp
8. I'm a big fan of HK for the size some of the bigger Lucas systems might serve you better (I'm not a big fan of Mackie stuff I've used it but have always gone back to HK, chalk & cheese really) How about the Lucas Max small portable and still gives good Spl.
9. Your right about it being a great bass I think it might be sold now so I'll put it on hold pending Thanks everyone for the nice words. Cheers Si
10. Price Drop Bump!
11. I'll post it for £10 if anyones interested. Cheers Si
12. The footprint is exactly the same and thats a nice combo you have,I'll post no problem I'll need to get a quote for the right amount.Cheers Si

14. Bought my cab off me a great guy to deal with and very friendly and he saved me a long drive! Cheers Steve
15. Bought a cab off him and I'm very happy with it,Great guy and very friendly good luck with your new rig Steve.
16. Popped the pick guard off today and found the makers sig- 1/17/79 so its 30 years old next week and must say the pick guard is in superb condition for a 30 year old bass it has also the early rectangle hardcase and not the later moulded one.
17. I still say they are a great cab and eveyone should own one before they get too old in fact when I owned one I found it easier to move around than my 4x10 HLF . Congrats anyway and enjoy it!
18. I'll ship it no problem I'll imagine it will be about £20 though.
19. Bought S/H from Electro Music about 2 months ago (Fully Serviced by them before they shipped) but with no need at moment for two amps this is up for sale.Good working condition a few minor marks on it but overwise good condition and it comes with the channel pedal. http://www.tech21nyc.com/lm300.html and some reviews- http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...+Bass+Head/10/1 Mesa and rack not included
20. Thanks for the nice comments,They are a great bass and the quality of them is legendary.
21. Made in the USA in '79 for the age I would say 'good'condition with a little bit of buckle rash and a few minor dings (Mojo would be the word) The case looks near mint and is the original case (Real good quality and looks great inside)T40's have a great pickup switching system and you can get so many tones out of this it rivals a active bass for different permutations..Not looking for any trades and I would be willing to drive up to 60miles from Preston for free if required. Cheers Si
22. The Mixers not a Mixwizard is it? Cheers Si
23. In Quite good nick with only a few small marks on the plastic corners never been driven hard.It is 8 ohm sounds great for the money with the added bonus of being lightweight. I'll deliver for free within a 1 hour radius of Preston other than that they will be collection only. Here's the Webby- http://www.eden-electronics.com/products/r.../separates.aspx Cheers Si
24. Bought my Ric off me he's a really top man and it was a pleasure to meet him, everyone should listen to his band they play some great stuff reminds me of 'Wilco' quite a lot.. Thanks again Mario and good luck at the Night & Day.
25.
Cheers guys................. My GAS is worsening by the day!
It will get worse I had a LM11 as my second head to my Mesa 400+ and TBH my Ric sounded great through it but the LM11 is such a great head anyway you would struggle finding a better S/S amp.
