1. Used Flats on my Aria Accoustic Bass for the last 9 years with no problems at all. Made no difference to the neck.
2. I got one of these and they are great for small pubs, and rehearsal. They punch well above their weight and are very reliable. I would say £150 is a good price but in current circumstances expect to let it go for £125
3. What didn't it go for last time and the time before? Maybe we can get it there quicker? :brow:
4. What about a nice blue Jazz 5 string currently up for sale, with SIMs leds!!!!! Mine
5.
Back to The Royal Oak, Whitehill this Saturday. Used to be a regular gig for us a few years back, and for more years than I like to think about, then it shut and I thought it had been razed to the ground, but no, it seems to have risen phoenix like & to be booking bands again. First outing for the Epifani cab with the MB combo as The Fountain last week was too small.
Going to beat you too it, playing there on the Friday, with.....my Epifani cabinets and my MB Amp Last time I played there was the last gig I did with my V8 and 4 x 12 before it was sold.
6. Never thought that I would see a black market for Vintage OBBM leads! Now I have seen everything. Dave you could make them look old like Fender do and charge more for them.....
7. No one want a nice Jazz with pretty lights on it then? Bump
8. Looks like there are no takers for this at the moment! Bump
9. This Bass still has all tags on it, original box and packing. Grab yourself a great as new 6 string bass for £200! I am never going to play this and I have a serious bout of downsizing my collectionas a new years resolution.... Also check out my 1983 P Bass and 90's Jazz with SIMS leds for sale.
10.
Well, three things 1. I can't always get a model when I need to photograph instruments 2. I thought it might be a nice change to display one without the admittedly glorious stands. 3. Hopefully that'll satisfy those who have made snidey comments about the girls and why my gear sells. Despite the fact that anyone who has bought from me will know the quality kit I offer. Actually, point 3 is a complete lie - I couldn't give a flying
I would just like to say.....Crackin photo's with or without the girls - and some fantastic gear as well! The one's with the girls make me smile, but thats a personal thing I guess.
11.
Hey guys i got a new one for you. i just installed my new badass II bridge on my 2000 fender MIM p bass. sounds great and tone and sustain are clear and noticable. ONE ISSUE....maybe. The low E has a noticible rattle, especially in drop D. It doesn't feel as comfortable as the other strings and the sustain and attack are not as good as the others. this bridge is not filed btw. if i filed this one string would it help? i like having a strong punchy E string.
I may be wrong but, from memory when I fitted my badass II bridge the sadles all needed to have slots filed into them as they were flat?
12.
'Fess up mush.
Looks like I won't be getting what I was after so I would rather not Fess up, however I will leave the offer up at £700 for a week. If it does not go then I will put it on Ebay. If it does not make the price I will keep it, I am sure it won't go down in value as much as cash is at the moment!
13.
I've not decided the bass' final fate yet but am tempted to take it apart and make a hybrid between this one and my gold one. Maybe using the neck and pickup from this one. Maybe stick the rest on the fire so no one can have it. mwah ha ha ha If it hasn't sold by the end of the auction on Sunday lunch time then that could be what I am doing. If you don't want this to happen then you only have 2 days to buy it. I know there are a lot of people on here who would like to buy it. £600 gets you one hell of a bass, posted to mainland UK. If it does sell then I'll be buying myself another Lollar pickup and paper in oil cap to put in my gold one
Have PM'd you. Best of luck with the Bass Steve
14.
I have the same bass except with a rosewood board. To get a Fullerton Bass of this era for £700 is incredible value. Somebody must surely be interested.
You are spot on there Hutton, I bought it at a very low price a couple of years ago, never used it so somone is going to benefit from that, and the fact that I am gassing for another Bass on this forum!
15. £700 gets you this bass because I am after another Bass! so much for cutting down the number of Bass's I have
16. Price drop to £800, Gas has got the better of me so I need to ballance my funds!
17. Which ones Les and which ones Paul? I will go now then shall I?
18.
He does Steve, but unfortunately he's also taken a pledge not to buy any nice basses!! Mind you, this one is gorgeous. Built the same year as my wife and looks like it's picked up less dings along the way too
How about paying half each and sharing it? I could have it Friday to Monday and then you could have it Tuesday to Thusday?
19.
Who is OHM?
Old Horse Murphy. He likes nice Basses, and this is Very Nice
20. watch out OHM is sniffin around this one! If the Euro to £ exchange wasn't so bad I would buy this just to with my CAR Strat and CAR Les Paul!
21.
didn't Mark King have something like this done by Fender for his own artist model? can vagueley remember that it was blue with SIMS LEDs
My LED's are more green than blue, however it is marked in the neck joint "SIMS" so at least I know that it was them that fitted the LED's
22. Been looking for something like this, and I love Lollers, have them in my 62 strat! Could I interest you in a 1983 P bass? currently in the for sale area. I would need a bit of cash as well. Let me know. Steve
23.
Come on - this is Prog Night on BBC3 you know
Got it in one!
