1. Sometimes doing business via BC is a genuine pleasure, Tom and I traded basses (Spector vs JazzBass 62RI) and it has been a joy all along. Our sons were born 4 minutes apart, which has made this one even more special. Cheers Tom, you have been a real.... well King Deal with Tom with the utmost confidence, this guy is the real deal.
2. Oh Harry, you are getting me all week at the knees......GAS, ..... want to buy, must resist. As a Lull JB "user" (it is my main bass) I can vouch for the sheer quality of these basses and Harry (as if he needs my endorsement) is a top notch guy to deal with. 1800 quid is an absolute bargain, have a bump on me Harry!
3. Lovely Custom Shop! Have a bump on me for a beauty.....
4. Ha ha Wookie, I should have realised you would be interested , it actually would be a good match for the Spectors you got off me. I missed the sound, so got this one..... but I cannot get used to the neck anymore. Sad but true. This one is off to the UK over the weekend. Enjoy the Spectors and see you again in Fache Tumesnil
5. Jeeeeeezzzzz, come on people probably the best 412 on the market for next to nothing!
6. Had another trade offer, but still not the right one. Any 35" 5 string JBs out there? Lakland, Lull? Or solid 34" 4 string?
7. All PMs responded to, some interesting trade offers but still not the right trade or sale found. Slim necked 4 or 5 string (j type or such) anyone?
8. All PMs replied to, some interesting trade offers, any buyers out there?
9. Ehm, bumpage! Would be very open to trading for a decent fretless (4 or 5) or a 4/5 string J.
10. Mate, any chance of sending me a sound clip? I am in the market for a fretless J and mostly care about how it sounds not so much how it looks (which is great ..). Cheers, H.
11. Any interest in trading for a bolt-on Spector USA + cash?
12. Merry Xmas BC folk! I picked up this excellent USA made Spector NSJH-5 up in a trade about 2 months ago. Having had Spector NS-5XLs, NS6XLs, Euro, NSCRs I wanted to check out the bolt-on US series. Man this thing delivers...... That said the neck is quite different to the Lulls I have been using for the past year and a bit and to be honest I have grown so used to the really sleek Lull necks that I am just not getting along with the NSJH-5 as much as I thought I would. The neck is exactly like the necks on my NS basses (played them for years) so it really is a case of not being used to the neck type. Think Precision vs Jazz neck. The sound is absolutely awesome, a little throatier than the neck-tru XLs. A really bad ass rock bass that can do mellow as well (thanks to the Aguilar pre)! Specs: Built in Woodstock NY in 2002 Flamed Maple Really good condition (pretty much no wear and tear) 35" scale 17mm string spacing EMG Active Jazz in neck position EMG dual coil humbucker in bridge position (switchable) Aguilar OBP-1 preamp (9 volt setup) 4,3 kg (bathroom scales method) Includes used original Spector hard case Please note this is the sought after fully carved (like NS-5XL) bolt-on model not the (slightly cheaper, lazy b*ggers) flat bodied one they make currently. It owes me €1500 or 1225 GBP (excluding shipping) and that is what I would like to get back for it. I live in the Netherlands, but am in Manchester area every month and could take it with me and can of course ship at buyers expense. I would certainly consider trades (+ cash either way). Something D Class with tubes (or tube sound), Markbass 102HF (8ohm) or 115HR (8 Ohm), a 5 string Jazz (Lulls preferred of course), a nice 4 string JB (passive is nice), a nice fretless (lined preferred but not required), the Ibanez Ashula, 4 or 5 string slim necked basses, would not rule out 6 string basses, boutique bass pedals... just try me. For the right deal I would consider trade + cash @ +- 500 quid out of my pocket (excl shipping/travel). More pics can of course be sent on request.
13. Wow peeps, you do realise this is a BERG 412 for 700 quid? If I had the need I would be all over this...... the NVs sound awesome.
14. I would take a punt, but little boy expected in a few weeks....... Need all the cash I can muster
15. It certainly looks awesome! I would expect this to be pretty much as transparent as the blue soul with vntage know off, but since it may be less open. A bit like Mark Bass' VLE and VPF knobs. I am quite intrigued. I have tried the blue soul and it is a cracking amp as all Glock gear, but not sure if the specs are different enough to make trading and or selling/buying useful to you Harry. Cheers, Harry
16. It looks great, and price is good. Come on people, buy this so he an 'ave his mac mini.
17. Chris is a new seller on BC, I traded a pedal with him. What an absolute gentleman! Would not hesitate to buy, sell or trade with him again.
18. Ash just purchased my Morley Mini Volume pedal, smooth transaction and would very happily deal with him again.
19. Hi Andy, afraid not. No need for more basses, cheers Harry
