It hasn't been doctored. It was taken on a compact digital camera at one of the indoor stages. I guess you could call it a fluke.

My friend snapped this shot of the bass player from 'The Rotted' being given a proper send off during his last ever gig with the band at Wacken Open Air. I think it's one of the best live shots I've ever seen.

I bought a pair of Schroeder cabs from Greg on behalf of a friend. Great seller, really nice, helpful guy and it was a pleasure to chat to and do business with him. The cabs are in fantastic condition and he even dropped them off! I've just given the two cabs a quick run through and they're great. I've spoken to my mate and he can;t wait to come and pick them up. Thank you.
Did you notice that it has a Fender USA neck plate but what looks like the remains of a Jap serial number on the heel. Any ideas?
90s Fenders are an odd one. I have a HM series bass which has 'Made in USA' on the headstock, but everyoneI've spokento says it's a Japanese instrument. If the Fender Electro-Acoustic is too much dosh, check out a Godin G4. A close friend of mine is looking to sell his Trace Elliot V-Type 4 x 8" combo and a 1153 15" cabinet. The V-Type was, IMHO, Trace Elliot's finest hour. The preamp features a gain, passive 3 band EQ with mid shift, activated by pulling on mid control and deep and bright switches and master. Finally, there is a DI out with pre/post switch and ground lift. The retro looked is completed with old fashioned knobs and a nice green light. The combo is I believe rated at 290W into 4 Ohms and around 200W into 8Ohms. The extension cab is a Trace Elliot 1153 - so not the incredibly rare V-Type cabinets, but a good piece of kit. It's all in great working order. I replaced the 2 stock tubes with a pair of Sovtek/EHX12AX7s. My friend loves this rig, but he's been working overseas for a few years and needs a small rig he can easily transport. £500 I'm currently looking after this for him, so any interested parties are welcome to come round and give it a bash. What are you listening to right now?
At this exact precise moment, it's 'Operation:mindcrime' by Queensryche.
4 completely wicked riffs entered my head within seconds of reading this post. Operation Mindcrime was one of the first metal albums I purchased. I like to think I started in style. What am I listening to, Fireproven by Scarve from the album Irradiant. Unbe-F*cking-lievable French Death Metal band. The singer on this album joined the mighty Mnemic. -

Have you heard the latest Planet X album Quantum? Some fantastic playing by Allan Holdsworth and Jimmy Johnson. -
Are there some serious reliability issues with these then?
Don't know about the footswitch, but the input and output jacks are direct PCB mounted flush to the edge of the metal casing, which is a recipe for disaster.

SWR baby blue, Workingmans 10 or 12 or LA series 10 or 12 would suit you perfectly. I saw a Workingmans 15 on Gumtree for £100 recently. It was quite an old ad and I doubt it hung around long at that price.

I give around £40 a month to charities, not to mention a significant amount of my time as chairman for a local children's charity. I get accosted at least twice a week by armies of chuggers in the high street outside my work. You have my utmost respect for your efforts with this charity raffle, but you need to accept that not all fundraising activities are successful. A word of advice for the future. Fundraising activities need to be eye-catching. Every charity does raffles.

Tech Soundsystems Performers crop up on ebay from time to time as old stock waiting to be cleared. I love the sound of my Tech head. My onlyword of warning concerns the onboard compressoronmy TVM350 and TVM600. It has a fundamental design fault and simply doesn't work properly - it just introduces a nasty distortion and lossof volume. I had a go on MacDaddy's TVM600 combo and it suffered from the same problem. With the compressor turned off it sounds fantastic.
